Great video, was looking for one with the same mechanism, spent hours adjusting the gas and shut off diaphragm to get the perfect flame

I learned from this Video a lot, thank you. Can I suggest to you to work with watch repair tools, you dropped and lost almost every singe part of this lighter at least twice.

If you put the flint wheel the wrong way, the sparks still go the same direction, but the wheel’s teeth will be less sharp so will produce less spark.

Best to use a small coin to open refill cap. Less chance of scratching it.

EXCELLENT video! I have several ST Dupont lighters and I worked on one today after watching this video! When I get my seals in... I have a few others that I have had for years (and one I just bought) that I need to fix. You helped prove that it isn't impossible to do! Great JOB!!!!!

I have 2 line-1 ST Dupont Lighters, 9:34 one bigger and one small. Both need good service and may be replacement of rubber rings (sealers). Please let me know, can I send you lighters from Pakistan and will you be kind enough to repair and service it for me, I’ll be grateful. How can I send you, the “Charges” ?

Does the lid shut off the gas when it closes? I can’t seem to work it out, and to me it seems like the gas constantly runs

Tell me where I can buy a spare part for such a lighter, when I was tightening the flame valve with a screwdriver, the slot broke off. Please tell me or share a link, I will be very grateful.

How exactly do you get it to a flamethrower like yours though do you have to install a different part? I like the big flame myself.
