if rads wouldn't have played that day we would have lost no doubt for me he saved 4 tries if not more simply amazing rads your a legend in wigan pal the best full back I have ever seen thankyou for your guts spirit and determination because of You this was one of the happiest days of my life beating st Helens in a challenge cup final you did wigan proud thanks pal.thanks also to lammy connoly faz dallas you were awesome aswell and the rest of the team.
Remember this well is it really ten years ago!!!! Who could ever forget Rads coming out of his sick bed to inspire Wigan to victory But looking back was the highlight of what was a very barren spell for Wigan when we had a very average team apart from Rads and Farrell. Didn't think at the time it would be another 8 years before we would win another major final or another 9 till we'd win the challange cup again.
@Grimmy4 Agree with everything you write, Radlinski had the game of his life but, I don't know if you know, he was in a hospital bed the day before with a septic foot?
Its interesting how for the Cunningham 'no try' for placing the ball on radlinski's knee that nowadays they wait forever to see if the ball eventually gets grounded.
Does anyone have the full match? I remember watching it live in Australia, all of the commentary team said that Rads wouldn't play because of his bad foot. Saints ran out first and Wigan were lead out by Rads I think every Saints player dropped their heads.
Cummings showing what a shit referee he was, total Wigan lover and should have had at least one Wigan player in the bin for slowing the PTB in that second half when Saints made a break never mind offside from the same PTB. Radlinski well deserving of the LT though.
