Facts but the defense was letting them down though but hopefully we draft for some better defensive players and also some offensive linemen to protect Perez
@@Noahvon503Yeah but still. Arlington was 1-7 going into this. Had they performed like this throughout the season they would have a significantly better record
It seems like he could have played the past two games but they are keeping him on the sidelines so he will be in his best condition for the playoffs. A smart move I say. St. Louis seems to have one of the better coaches in the league.
@@FreedomDefender07 This loss may have cost them home field. Instead of playing in STL, will most likely have to play in SAT. Next week is a play-off game to host the play-off game
That no.1 safety from Arlington kind of erased all his poor tackling with that pick six. In most of the plays showed here he at most throws a half-assed shoulder into ball carriers.
I think Wilkins is a lot worse for the team than any other option, completely changes the scheme cause he cant throw. They cant win off just running and 3 yard passes.
Proud of you Renegades! Just finish strong, and more importantly, START strong next season. Hope Louie Dimes Perez can return next season. He will win the Offensive player of the year, its a no brainer. Also: KAW IN NAAAAAAHHHHH😂
A cursory glance at all the highlights from teams with losing records will show that they are capable teams. This is the kind of league that takes unrefined players and turns them to pros. The kind of effort you see out of these guys is definitely on par with the kind of effort we see in the NFL, the only difference is skill gap. This was an exciting team to watch because I love rooting for underdogs and Arlington has been an underdog since week three, so I hope that we can expect this level of effort every week next season.
How are they a figurative underdog when they won the championship last season in the XFL? They are underachievers. Also, this isn’t a league of refinement. This isn’t a farm league. Many players were on NFL p squads or in training camps. This is currently a showcase league. Get noticed. And my hope is that this will soon be a destination league like the old USFL was. But it’s definitely not a farm league like you suggested.
@@RhiscFactor they didn't enter the season as the underdog. As I stated, they became the underdog because by week 4 or 5 it was difficult to be confident that they would win against any particular opponent. I want to emphasise thought that you're right, and I didn't mean to imply that this was a farm league. Overall the Renegades have had a difficult season and this kind of win is much needed especially when you're facing a strong STL team.
Well well well. It was a good day for upsets on all fronts. My Brahmas snap Birmingham’s undefeated streak and the Renegades finally get a win against a top team such as St. Louis.
As a Battle Hawks fan AJ needs to return in a hurry. But the whole team just looked totally flat to me. And Luis Perez was a Stone Cold assassin for Arlington
Brutal loss for my Battlehawks, but I'm proud of the Renegades capitalizing on their opportunity to get that second W. It may hurt even worse if the Battlehawks lose home field advantage in that first playoff game!
Well a wins a win and a loss is a loss San Antonio playing with their backup in Dormady and they are still winning and you guys won last week with your backup so I don’t see why there’s excuses
This game was a bye for us. We have so many guys banged up resting for the final push. What happened to WR Marcel Ateman? Injured? or just in the dog house? he has some serious potential alongside Hakeem Butler. Next week the games will matter for the home field. Michigan wins tomorrow they also have a chance or did BHAM win the tiebreakers already? STL with AJ ready and that crowd will be good to go. Home field for the next 3 games one game at a time.
Good job, Arlington... they needed this to show people that they don't actually suck... they should have at least 4-5 wins, but just got outplayed in the end against some teams. They're definitely better than Memphis and Houston. As for the Battlehawks, don't care if they are 7-3 now or not... They're still better than The Panthers. Despite the Panthers getting a last second, 2 point victory at home against SL on the first week of the season. If Battlehawks were to play Michigan again, IN St. Louis, it would be a beatdown in favor of SL. The Battlehawks even beat SA IN San Antonio. No other team has done that. When Michigan tried, they got clapped in San Antonio... and so did Birmingham. I think its safe to say, that the XFL is more balanced than the USFL this year. And XFL teams are more dominant at home,(probably mostly due to bigger fan bases.)
Battlehawks D gotta step it up. Hope AJ comes back next week with a vengeance. Need some fire if we have a chance against Birmingham. Already got my championship tickets!
Well this sets up a lot of drama next week. I just hope today is a wake up call to the BattleHawks. We need a home playoff game. I guess technically next week counts as one.
Completely different looking team without AJ taking the snaps, but they needed to give him the opportunity to heal before the playoffs. You’re certainly right about the D looking bad all season… RTR
Battlehawks completely blew the game. Poor coaching as evidenced by the lame play calling on both offense and defense. Battlehawks secondary seems to simply allow the opposition to catch every pass before thinking about tackling. It's a permanent prevent defense that prevents nothing for the opposition. Offensively they played as though McCarron was in the game instead of taking full advantage of the sub QB's ability to run. The run plays that were called were slow developing, completely expected and therefore ineffective. Very disappointing.
Bob Stoops needs to be fired this 2-7 season is a major embarrassment. Chuck Long being the Offensive coordinator he's running the same outdated scheme he ran at Oklahoma and San Diego State.
@@ryandavis4448 Yeah, and if we win? BOTH playoff games will be at home too. Can't lose that next game. Our defense is shaky. They NEED that home crowd advantage!
St Louis looking like they don't' want to play defense and trying new awful plays make zero sense why are you changing things that didn't need changed just dumb thinking make changes to make you offense unpredictable doesn't work better go back now and dump the back up starting do you really want to go into playoffs loosing wow that always works for no one
Somebody better get in touch with the Battlehawks lawyers because those Renegades just left a giant caca all over their law. 3 picks in the last 2 minute ffs.
I'm a little worried. But the defense usually plays better at home, and if A.J. isn't too hobbled we should be OK. We'll know for sure after that NEXT game. If we lose that, we ARE in trouble.
