It's an odd off season. Everyone agrees that the Blues got better. But nobody really expects them to play any better. Some teams will take a step back some will take a step forward.
saying Bennington ever had his job in jeopardy is laughable. That defense has been the worst in the league over the last three years. No goalie would play well on a team that allowed 8 back door plays a game. He has been the best goalie in the world since he came into the league. The fact that they had 92 points last year while being 24th in goals tells you that goaltending is the only strong position on this team.
