what a fucking story. I think we all had a point where we stopped thinking, "how will we fuck it up this year?" and started thinking "we can fucking do this!"
Even the day of Game 7 I had some of those thoughts.....then about an hour or 2 before the game something in my head just snapped and I thought "Fuck this, we're winning tonight!!"
I have waited for the Blues to fail every year for my whole life. I woke up the day of game 7 confident and was just waiting for them to win. I didn’t celebrate until 4-0 though
I was one of the nearl 100,000 sitting outside on the street watch party during this game. MAJOR pity it wasn't the series winner and was a humiliation of a game. But took it to Boston and beat them down in front of their home crowd!
@Kenneth Aldrich Thank you! Hey I was at game 3 and 6 (and 4 for that matter) but I get that had to be a rough game 7 to sit through. But I will say St. Louis did owe Boston after the Pats beat the Rams in 2002 and a couple of World Series. Both cities could be doing worse as far as sports go.....
@Kenneth Aldrich Ugghh!! I hope you were at game 1 at least....but you are right. Can't win them all and after all this quarantine stuff I appreciate sports and all the entertainment they give us....good and bad!
