St. Louis, Missouri has become the most dangerous city in America, surpassing Detroit. St. Louis has also had a higher percentage of it's peak population leave than any other major city in the United States, including Detroit. Today, less than 300,000 people reside in the city limits, however the entire Metro Area continues to be home to nearly 3 million people. With St. Louis continuing to decline and lose population and businesses, it's hard to see that ever turning around.
