What are the official days for the carnival for this year? A couple of friends and I are planning a trip for a friends birthday, but want to arrive during the peak of everything. Also don't want to miss your jour ouvert
I have been to St. Lucia 3 times on cruise ships, but never as a stayover visitor. I plan on vacationing there for a week sometime this year. Can you say if there will another street carnival this year? If not, then can you say what date(s) in the year I could experience this carnival?
Carnival season runs mainly in July, however, there are fetes (events) in June leading up to carnival. Community carnivals are held on different days and national carnival (the two day parade) is normally the third Tuesday and Wednesday in July.
Okay St. Lucia, I see you all are enjoying yourself there like typical Caribbean people. No flag in the air? I’m so use to the different flags a Miami USA Carnival. But understand this is St. Lucia and no other Caribbean people might be there representing their island. 🤗❤️🥳 🇯🇲
