i live in bury st edmunds on one of the ley line spots, I have in the last year awoken spiritually to a huge extent and owe the energy im accessing to this ley line
Very good video, I like your humble straightforward style. There is a great video called the High man, or Highman, a giant figure more than five miles long, still slightly visible around the area of Tara Hill in County Meath, Ireland.
My bf lives in Gislingham, and I can't stay at his for more than a week at the time without getting terrible head aches, that dissappear as soon as I leave the village. I'm an empath and I can feel it
Royston in hertfordshire is also a node point. There is a bottle cave underneath the main high street, containing many facinating carved pagan and christian images on the walls. Google royton cave.
Bury St Edmunds Abbey is on the site of a much older Saxon church and which might well have been constructed on an even older spiritual site. But as the Norman Abbey, it was one of largest and richest Benedictine monasteries in England and with King Edmunds bones, also a very important place for going on a spiritual pilgrimage.
Thanks for the info. Definitely some high energies in and around Bury St. Edmunds. Hengrave Hall has a chapel that has been built/added on to a Saxon tower.
thanks for the film. There is another site in the north of England you may not of heard of in a possible Orion lay out. Its called Thornborough Henges. I also seem to remember a diviner walking the St Michael ley line and saying the energy is not just in a straight line but the energy spirals, so this may show that the sites don't have to be exactly on the line.
Bill Green I wonder whether you have heard of Prof Alexander Thom? He studied the UKs megalithic sites many years ago and had some rather interesting theories about them, If you haven't, I would recommend this video from the BBC archives 'Chronicle: Cracking the stone age code' It was first broadcast in 1970 but is very interesting although not specifically about Ley lines its more about alignments of the sites especially in astrological terms. www.bbc.co.uk/archive/chronicle/8604.shtml You also mentioned in your film the definition of ley lines and that they were 'believed to be where there were very old paths', I would recommend if you havent heard of it 'The Ridgeway' in regards of such paths en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ridgeway
Some of the deviations from the projected ley line are probably due to the way that Google Earth is constructed. That is from satellite images which are often taken at an oblique angle and are "corrected" by the software to approach a flat surface. The second cause of deviations is the fact that the earth is a round ball. While projecting the surface of a ball on a flat surface you get deviations which are larger as you approach the edges of that surface en which become larger if one is looking over larger surfaces lik you do in this video. Therefore it is sensible to allow for a certain margin of error, just like you do. Dowsing for the exact position of the ley line at all this locations will probably show you that the line is closer to all these places that you can surmise from Google Earth.
Thank you Nick. As you will see in the video there are some sites right on the line such as Avebury and Glastonbury. Some sites are even aligned in the same direction as the line. All sites are within 1 mile of the line.
St. Michaels tower formerly known as montacute castle is definitely part of the ley-line..... a cross is rumoured to have been found at the top of the hill and Joseph of Arimathea is purportedly buried here (he is more likely buried at burgh island) still an interesting place if you look into the history it is linked tot he battle of Hastings 1066.
@@BillGreenAZ i was born in and still live in Yeovil! it is a very small world! thankyou again for this, you have got me plotting my own lines and planning for some mad adventures with my kids (as soon as lockdown ends, if it ever ends!!)... so interesting.... sending you a billion blessing through every power line! I'm actually looking at 'Melkins' line which is from Avebury to Burgh island (the line intersect montacute tower). it has got me spellbound, there is so much to investigate. thanks again, all the best
@@BillGreenAZ it is so beautiful here Bill. if you get a chance please visit... if you ever do decide to hop over the pond give us a shout my e-mail is ------ gralo1981@gmail.com would be more than happy to do some ley-line hunting with you!
@@GRA.L1981 How wonderful that you live in Yeovil! My ancestor was Stukely Westcott who was married in St. John's Church in 1619 and his 2 children were baptized there before coming over to America. His daughter later married the first governor of Rhode Island. Sending many blessing back to you for being such a kind soul. If you can, please let me know of some of your adventures with other ley lines.
Interesting video Bill. and very well presented. i was aware that Saint Michael Mary Ley line ran in close proximity to Taunton, only was surprised at how close i live to it. My home coordinates are 51°00'00.1"N 3°05'01.5"W (51.000036, -3.083739) Thank you Bill. Best regards, Richard, Taunton, Somerset.
Hey@@BillGreenAZHow are you? i'm re-researching St.Michael's Ley Line and this video was a recommendation in 'search'. i was unaware that i'd already watched it let alone left a comment. i watched it again and also recorded it. It's more informative now, having watched it for a second time. An extremely belated "thank you for your reply". Yeovil ancestry eh? Have you researched it to any great depth? The South-West of England in general is very interesting, steeped in ancient folk-lore and structures. well worth a visit. i have a new theory on the East/West points for St.Michael's Ley Line that i'm now working on. anyway,... hope you are well. Blessings and Love to you.
@@RichardAStonemasonNOTfreemason thanks for the kind reply. I'm afraid my Yeovil ancestry doesn't go beyond the late 1500s. I would love to visit one day, especially Glastonbury Tor, Stonehenge and Avebury. I've recently been reading about the Barbary pirates that attacked the southwestern coast and took people as slaves. Such horrible times.
Missing the point on Carn Brea (pronounced bray), Brea meaning rocky in the Cornish language, Carn being hill… us Cornish having little imagination, called it the ‘Rocky Hill’. The ‘Castle’ is a medieval hunting lodge and folly, built by the local lord. The Monument, built to commemorate one of his direct ancestors. The significance of the lay line can be found between the Castle and the Monument: a Bronze Age village dated at around 3,800 BC, making it one of if not the oldest village in Europe. Far more significant than his lordships man cave.
Thanks for the great insight and thanks for correcting the pronunciation. In California there is a city called Brea that is pronounced "Bray-uh" so that's where I got that. i prefer your pronunciation since it is more local to the site. Many of these places on the St. Michael Ley Line were built on top of much earlier settlements. It makes me wonder if the Bronze Age people were the first to construct this line.
That's correct gringolazlo. There are many crop circles in the Wiltshire area including many around West Kennett Long Barrow which is less than a mile from Silbury Hill, both of which are in Wiltshire.
Still not too sure why people call these pathways ley lines as I understand it Alfred Watkins called these ancient tracks leys as they often went through places with ley in there names. Perhaps, although they are important, rather than looking at monuments along these tracks names of places and sighting notches for these tracks to transit hills could be noted.
im going to bury soon wear do you suggest,, have you been to Eye village in Suffolk ? it is the eye if the dragon,, or have you been to Sumerleyton near Hopton ?
Bill Green . No problems Bill. It's quite a sight on Google earth. One mound has been destroyed by a tarmac company believe it or not!!! But you can still see the Orion connection and it's huge👍
There are many other lay lines that converge at Carn brea Castle as we know it locally. There is a tunnel that links St uny Church at its foot to the castle although it is not accessible anywhere around the castle which has been a restaurant for 20 odd years at least owned by the family of the actress who appeared in ab fab Julia sowallah? a friend of mine that says that there is an underground lake beneath it I have ideas where its entrance may be I go up there a lot and there is much to see with a self trained eye to megalithic settlements structure remnants strewn around they will tell you that the Carn of granite is volcanic and its vast array of granite stones are due to glacial action. Many walls with megalithic stones of tens of tonnes leading up to it and around it, a neolithic settlement is about All there is to say of its history it was used in the neolithic period but I'm telling you it's far older with a colourful past there is much around its base; the mine engine houses are in a terrible derrilict condition for their mere 170 years that they were supposedly built no records or photography of this town which was one the richest places on the planet regarding its mining history but not a bloody thing same with St uny Church it is absolutely definitely much older than the 1200 AD telling of it, the granites degradation is crumbly indeed the holy well around 500 AD you wouldn't know is there what with the cottages and houses built around it and road over it. Other standing stones surround its area and only a mile or so away we have Carn marth which was quarried same goes there much grown over its walls etc , there is an old well I found from an old picture from sometime in the 1800s it name I forget but it's linked to the nursery rhyme see saw marjory dawes. Just giving you a little piece of my local finds.👍
I have no idea either if there is a strong reason for Bury St Edmunds (my birthplace) to be on the line. Yet in the centre of the town there is Angel Hill and Angel Lane and the Angel hotel. I don't know why
I've found that they do. There are many geographic channels on RU-vid that include lines drawn even between hemispheres to be surprisingly accurate in Google Earth.
+Worthy101 I have not. I just went to see what he may be about and I see "The Sun and the Serpent" video on his Facebook page. I'll have to view that soon. Thanks for the reference.
I take it you have not read the Sun and the Serpent? there are many many sites in the East of England - its really worth reading. Silbury hill is confirmed as a man made site - it is a centre of an Avebury wide grid of energies more subtle than the bigger ley
@@BillGreenAZ It's amazing Bill. I was lucky to read it when I was 18. It literally shaped my whole life!! So many magic momentsand insights from Paul Broadhurst and Hamish Miller. Hamish also has videos on here - years and years of wisdom :) have fun
Interesting video. But are any of the sites actually ON a line? When I did ley searching with OS maps in the 1970s, a pencil line was probably hundreds of yards wide and the whole subject looked plausible. Google Earth rather shows that the 'alignments' are nothing of the sort - unless we define a ley line as a mile or more wide. Unfortunately I don't know which international institute to contact to ascertain the internationally-agreed ley-ine width!
There are a lot of significant points north of where you finished although these perhaps have a different angle. It is interesting that the Rothschild family have a number of estates for instance Ascott House and particularly Waddesdon that was used as the location for Eyes Wide Shut built around this line both north and south. These are all in close proximity in the county of Buckinghamshire although I'm sure an ancient occultic bloodline would only have done this by coincidence.
I had no idea the Rothschilds had some estates near this line but it makes sense. I do know that the Elites, including royalty, oftentimes will build octagonal buildings that point to ley lines like this that contain places they claim to own. This Michael ley line starts with Star Castle in the Scilly Islands off the coast. It's an octagonal building whose construction was ordered by Queen Elizabeth I after the Spanish Armada. Makes me wonder if the occultists, including the Rothschilds, used this line to claim property. I've been meaning to create a sequel to this video that includes more points along this line. Thanks for your input.
Another interesting thing I don't think mentioned in the video is that the Michael line connects 2 points which form the longest east to west land extension. This line is as you say famous but what is very rarely mentioned is any lines that run north to south. I've not really seen reference to such or if such a 'ley' really exists - I'm sure it probably does. If it indeed does it would also run very close to these estates in its north to south axis. Looking at the map indicates this an important intersection. The significance also is that if you look at Waddesdon Manor it sits at what could be the heart of the east west / north south conjunction of these 2 lines. Literally at the heart of the country. It is also probably not insignificant that this 'cross' would actually for and inverted or upside down cross. I'm sure that is just another insignificant coincidence of why the Rothschild family built there house there though ...
the locations before Bury st Edmunds were not mentioned, such where the line pass through in Royston and letchworth area. Would like to see it on a map, any links anyone? Thank you
Bit of a pointless video, totally inaccurate. Yes the line you describe is a ley line but it is imaginary in that that it shows a straight line alignment between most of the sites where the Michael & Mary "energy leys" cross. They are not straight, in fact what people describe as "ley lines" never are, they are actually magnetic bands of energy which twist and turn, which why the Michael & Mary are known as the serpents.
Bill Green The straight line is only imaginary, Penwith press sell maps of the M&M lines, also have a read of the sun and the serpeant by Hamish Miller. There is also a book about the Belinus Line called the Spine of Albion
Great work . The 'alignment' is straight ,however the Earth Energies intwine the alignment like the Cadeaucis on the spine ,a chakra image, thus several points that are debated as not on the line .....are actually on the Male or Female Energy lines as they wind serpent like along the line ............when they cross the Energies are particularly strong (node) such sites are the important ones ..... A strong site you missed is on the Eastern part of the line at Royston .It has a Templar carved cave under the street .Royston means Kings Stone . It is believed there was indeed once a stone at he crossroads above the cave . Cheers Stuart
Very good Stuart. Yes, I've heard about the intertwining caduceus-like intertwining. Thanks for adding that. You also make sense about Royston meaning "Kings Stone". Roy is king in French of course, and "ston" is just a stone's throw (pardon the play on words) from "stone".
Thanks Susie. There is a city in California with the name of Brea. It's pronounced bray'-uh so that's why I pronounced it the way I did. If I do any future videos including this carn, I'll pronounce it the way you suggest.
There's a theory emerging about megalithic structures being both cymatic conductors and fairly effective telluric signposts. This cymatic _outlining_ architecture was clearly practised all over the Mediterranean and surrounding regions (such as Britain) by a pagan people with a profound understanding of esoteric or _subtle_ energy. The progression of their building methodology can be seen originating with dolmens and barrows, then culminating with pyramids. One other point, England is littered with St Michaels. Anywhere you see a mound or a landscaped natural hill, there will be a St Michaels church either on top of it, or very near by. It seems the Jesuits couldn't force people to abandon their annual pilgrimages to the temples of their ancestors, so they just built a modern hut on it and offered free wine & biscuits. Fortunately nobody really cares about these huts anymore and for the most part they are merely historical curios. Meanwhile millions flock to festivals of blatant excess held in close proximity to these natural interfaces between organic life and subtle energy. The dragon wasn't slain, it was just sleeping.
