Every time I put on Irish Music, I'm reminded of my dear Dad , who immigrated to Canada when he was 15 yrs old in 1925, met my Mom , got married in 1931. After 12 children (10 girls 2 boys ) we lost him in 1978, 68 urs old. Im the youngest boy now 70, listen to this music and shed a few tears. I hope before I die, I can afford to go to Ireland , meet cousins I have never met, and complete the circle. Still miss you Dad.
I’m in highlands in Scotland with my daughter for her birthday my mum and dad wedding anniversary today happy st Patrick’s day everyone keep safe 🍀🍀🍀🍀💚💚💚💚
My mum died on 14 March last year and I thought it would sour the day, on the 17th, as we say. She was right there with us, we missed her, loved her and shared her all day. Mary Queen of the May xx
I swear my grandmother and aunt meet with us every 17th as well. The Irish will only leave heaven for a good party, or should I say for a good Craic🍀🍀🍀🍀
My mum entered a coma the 16th of march..last year: I m here with her now cooking ..and drinking guinness and danxing me and her only in front of the fire of the chimney.. on italian alps Dublin changed my life when i was 22.. 1999. Maaaagic times I left university and started living "properly"
I'm citizen of Irish short time, but I'm proud of that. This music is very, very good. When I hear that I feel Ireland in my heart❤. Happy St. Patrick Day❤
How to be Irish: 1. Get drunk 24/7 2. Wear shorts in cold weather 3. Wear a pink hat 4. Speak a dead language 5. Have an ugly face 6. Be sexually abused by a priest 7. Plant bombs 8. Do a silly dance 9. Dress up as a leprachaun 10. Wave and point at passers-by
Today is the 12th anniversary of my trip to Ireland. Each 23rd of March since 2010 I celebrate this day. I miss you Ireland, I love you. We will unite soon!
Bangs me back in 1989 as an Erasmus student, driving from Dublin to Donegal and ending at nightfall in a tiny coast village. One pub, a B&B and four houses. The pub was steamy and full of folks, four of them playing and singing Irish folk songs. A pint of Smithwicks, a pot of stew and possibly one of the most memorable night of my life. Thanks Ireland, from Spain’s irishiest regions, Galicia
A Spanish Celtic Cousin ! I know Donegal well, and I was living there in the late 80s... I wonder which village it was -- do you remember? Antes hablaba mucho mas el aspañol, pero ahora vivo en Francia desde 20 años .... me llamada la irlandesa loca, los amigos españols y latinos ! ☘
Thanks for sharing your Irish music with us. Making my scones for St. Patrick's day and listening to your music. Very proud of my Irish DNA and the trip they took to America for us to have a better life. Thank you again, Maureen Ramage.☘️☘️🍀🍀
I remember each Hogmanay my parents would bring out the Dubliners old vinyl albums and we would all sit around their coal fire and sing our hearts out. That was over 60 years ago now. Great memories!
Thank you very much for sharing!! Btw Would you happen to have any recordings of those great family times if you do it be wonderful if you could share them
My father's father was an irish prince. I have a golden copy of his ring on my finger. He went through two world wars, lied about his age for fighting the 1st, he had to flee the colonies with his family. He was great. I love him, Ireland and irish music ✊🏼🎼🍀🙏🏻🤩
Top o the mornin to all who appreceate the Irish culture and history , and the Patriots who have given everything to keep what we hold most dear to our hearts ,our land ,and our freedoms that we were given by GOD.......
Als Deutscher der nicht fliessend Englisch spricht und nur 50% versteht kann ich sagen das diese Musik mich sehr berührt und die Melodie besiegelt es ! Danke dafür💚

I too am proud to have Irish in me blood, me great grandpa from me da’s side was from Dublin and I would always hear me da play this type of music when I was wee little lad (me ma and da divorced when I was around 5 years old) and still love this kind of music to this day. God bless the Irish and their beautiful music.
I have red curly hair and everybody thought I was Irish growing up. But alas I'm English, One day outa the year I'm Irish and today is the day. If it wasn't for alcohol the Irish woulda ruled the world... The fighting Irish they did so much to build our nation and have a great spirit which I envy..
That's why they needed the alcohol , to get them through, because of all the pains and sorrows........needed something to numb the pains,.....for in wars the ones that have past,..but never forgotten....and blues for them who have stayed because another Day is waiting, for Work MUST Be Done,in the spirit of Never Giving UP,....if you want to stay atop Hat, of the Irish Clover! 🍀
Happy St Pat's to my Irish ancestors and kin the world over. Happy birthday to my grandma Johnson who was born on this most Irish of days. May your Lord keep you. Sinn Fein and Erin Go Bragh

You have great taste in the most brilliant music, Give a listen to Thin Lizzy albums, their music is similar in many ways for its stunning brilliance, the story told; etc
