Awesome work here, should upload more songs here. Very encouraging for posterity. I thank Charles Omondi "babu" (RIP),for introducing and walking with me,in this wonderful choral family of St Stephens' cathedral jogoo road choir. Will always be indebted to Omosh for making me who i am musically...and the rest that have moulded me,Chris HSC(RIP), Madalanga,Erico and Franklin Ochieng'(RIP)!!!
We recorded that song some few yrs after the late Frankline came back from India, you can see him in that group photo sitted at uhuru park with other bases now no more. Omosh mwalo and Juma !
Thanks for updating this song/hymn . We sung it in catholic choirs competition at our lady of visitation makadara Nairobi . I was in class six , very young and a committed chorister who could only sing soprano though lined with the tenors . God is great.
I remember Chris Sikuku (RIP) with great fondness and respect for the fine choral director that he was. A great teacher of immense generosity and humility. May his virtues inspire us all as we savour in the splendour of the fine music that he left behind. I hope St. Stephen's Cathedral and the choristers will organise an event to celebrate this great son of Kenya
Voice balance during our days conducted by our Lovely Patron Late Hon.Dairus Mbela & late choir master Chris & Omosh, when I remember 😢😢😢........I miss you guys❤❤❤
I truly think you guys should record and post here more often. The message should vibrate beyond the confines of the church to the inhabitants of the world. It's a mandate after all. Four years ago I checked here and unfortunately the listings are as we're then meager. Please consider that proposal. Greetings to o'.
Balanced voices. I am proud to have gain some skills before his last breath. RIP Mwalimu Chris Shikuku HSC. You inspired me in the Devolution Festivals. In you I respect thy Voice.
In our world is evangelization stops the world dies, man of today needs water that comes from what the christians have been doing together with their Bishops, Priests, Sisters or religious people. In our world we need to be planted besides the flowing River where by our Roots can not be drained water and we wether up and die. In our world this what i am speaking about has taken place in many countries where by the flocks feels a lone, anatched the living water by roaming wolves, the water of the faith they had befire stollen by other false religion who goes to the officials with their advocates, Medicals, Loyers, and with all forged and pretended false testimonies that they are tge real flock while tomorrow the swallow up the real original flocks of Christ because they don't get satisfied with the little they have but want big bellies, looking very important on the costs of others who have no security of anybody. The word of God must root out these things so that people can return to have sense of who is their creator, and why they exists, just to ruin the world or make also the world a tempiral heaven whete by we that live today know that we were not meant to live for ever but temporally on earth and eternaly in heaven where God lives, so that we all feel secure, happy, usefull in our world.
