ST. Thomas － Masahiko Satoh 

I'm an amateur and I am going to try to play St. Thomas in a jazz quartet... I clicked on this vid to hear a cover version to get some ideas. Er... I think maybe it wasn't the best version to listen to for that purpose :-o

yeah most drummers now'a days overtighten their snares but steve keeps his medium tight which gives it a great fat and dry sound.

J'adore Gadd mais on sent qu'il manque d'imagination dans ce solo, de plus il passe un peu souvent les mêmes plans dommage. Dave Weckl est beaucoup plus imaginatif et aussi plus technique mais ça n'engage que moi !
