Agreed entirely. This performance is easily the most interesting and captivating and creative thing I've seen in years. It blows my mind that humanity at large has yet to recognize that Annie is easily one of the best ever....she's Bowie, but a girl...who can play guitar WAY better than Bowie(no offense). Seriously...she's dangerously good.

I've only JUST discovered St Vincent a few weeks ago after all these years (and I am NO spring chicken) and there's been something about her (other than her and her music being AWESOME) that I just couldn't put my finger on..."simultaneously the cutest and most threatening person on the planet". What an awesome performance. Folks, you're seeing something special; Annie Clark is amazing, and her band is absolutely tearing it up. Haven't seen anything this cool since Talking Heads in the early 80s. Can't wait to see them in Atlanta in December, I hope they close with Your Lips Are Red like they did at Pitchfork and Glastonbury.

I was at Pitchfork this year, but I was not into what I called indie music. I can't remember if my friend made me watch her or not, but I'm in love with St. Vincent's music now.

Just been over with Sufjan Stevens feeling all lachrymose and spiritual and thinking it was the best music ever. But now I'm thrilling to this insanely great guitar work and laughing out loud as Annie pushes the limits of what a human being might get to be. Perhaps THIS is the best music ever? I'm as fickle as a paper doll.
