Thank u so much sir for your this precious knowledge and do u have any online platform so that we can avail benefit from course as this covid outbreak will not let us come in Gujarat for next 6 months atleast
Our EZ TRAININGS are too practical... We use so many Props, Models, Site Visits, Actual Project Reports/Dwgs etc. to explain in TOTAL PRACTICAL ways. As of now, participants from all over India, even some from out of India, travel to our place and undergo these Unique Trainings. We don't find it feasible to teach online that effectively. It is almost like learning "swimming" online... Still we are working hard on it to make ONLINE TRAINING possible...but not sure.. If we start that, we will surely inform you dear... Till that, if at all feasible for you, you are most welcome to Our EZ Institute at Vadodara, Gujarat
Great explanation; I'm not civil, construction nor structural engineer, but a simple home DIYer that is about to create some steel home projects, such as storage racks. So I came to this video and learnt a lot so far. Talking abut fixed (welded) connections in all corners: Is there any significant improvement for a structure to have 2 braces, in a "X" cross form, versus a single brace per side ( One brace going from bottom/left to top/right, other side having brace going from bottom/right to top/left)? Provided the tubing for bracing is strong enough. As I'm going to make a lot of racks ( about 6, in average 3x2x0.6 meters Height x Length x Depth), I would like to do some savings by using 1 bracing per side if possible, Thank you in advance.
YOU CAN USE 1 BRACE. IT DEPENDS ON DESIGN. IF ONE BRACE IS CAPABLE OF TAKING LOAD, NO NEED TO GO FOR 2ND ONE. WHEN YOU PROVIDE X BRACE, THE LOAD IS SHARED. ANOTHER THEORY SAYS - (TENSION ONLY DESIGNS). YOU CAN FIND DETAIL OF THIS THEORY IN GOOGLE, IF YOU CHOOSE TO DESIGN WITH THAT CONCEPT, YOU MUST PROVIDE X BRACE.
