You know what, I disagree with Meghan on literally everything except this. Her answer here is nice and all but 5 millions is a LOT of money and anyone who pretends contributions of this size aren't influencing politicians is lying. I knocked doors in Iowa. I lost count of the number of people who wanted to caucus but couldn't get off work, had to care for a relative, lacked adequate transportation. The caucuses are voter suppression on steoroids.

IDs are required to cross a national border, get a car loan, a mortgage, to buy alcohol, drive a car, fly on air airliner and on and on. There is no reason an ID should not be required to vote.
@@S955US84 Believe me when I say I understand your concerns, but the way to fix the problem (if anyone out there is interested in this at all) is something in between no ID at all (that really, no one is proposing) or a specific Voter ID that may or may not be easily and cheaply accessible to all. Plus, there are other issues such as voting by mail (something President Trump did, and I applaud). Honestly, a National, verifiable voting system is needed which would be hard enough to do, but compound that x50, and then another x20-40 for the counties and all that can end up is a big mess, I am sorry to say. Sadly, this issue has become political, and as such, nothing gets done. The system I would use would be based on Social Security numbers, but the cries of Big Brother call out, and again, nothing gets done. I saw her recent interview with Seth Meyers and some of the things she was saying aligned very well with Bernie. If Bernie is the nominee she would be perfect to unify the party after the primaries going into the convention.

The thing that really annoys me about The View is they never ask someone like Stacey about her actual POLICIES! Not making any judgement about her platform one way or the other, but voters should hear that platform so they can make an educated decision as to whether she's someone they would support.
