I am a wingrave enjoyer and I built my guy 100% Break Power. It's fkn AWESOME! I use sword and shield but I am gonna level a 2h axe and try since the base break is decent. P.S. Keep it up brother, you make great content and your streams fk!
Thx Don! Appreciate it i went with your build and tweaked it, what a glasscanon! Luckily i have good timings on my parrys and dodges but that dps is insane.
Queue Main here. Really helpful information. Will let the Devs know to nerf it before I get to log in the next time. Kappa Every comment helps, so why not be salty and meme.
Playing the paladin right now and I’ve been focusing break and ability power so can stagger bosses and heal more. Ran an expedition with 2 other guys with the same build on the archon commander and we staggered him back enough that we clipped him through the wall and had to abandon.
This is extremely class specific for example Venomess largely benefits way more from Ability Power since even venom dots scale with Ability Power. I was assuming that most of the abilities from Bosses were considered magical damage and was giving more relevance to the Magical Def for that reason
Yeah I think the general rule of thumb is what you can get from their kits and what you want to get from them. I think Even Niss could do decently well on Ability Power once you get your abilities maxed out you can reset her dash on demand and she cleans up shop as well. Wingrave, I think his ability power scales up his heals as well.
very true however early on Weapon Power really shines on a lot of the classes because you will end up using your normal attacks a lot, especially before you have all your abilities unlocked/upgraded
It's like any game with ability and weapon damage, it highly depends on the character. Playing Kyros I started trying to scale weapon power until casting abilities was something I was doing like, a LOT. And changing over to AP has made any weapon I use an afterthought and just something to do while I wait for my skills to come up and chain into eachother. And once I level other more weapon attack focused characters, I'll probably go with that. The only issue I've found with the upgrade system is a lack of attack speed modifiers, which will inherently make weapon attack focused characters a bit harder to build.
Like the video, but when making a video like this maybe try to put some gameplay in as well please. Would like to see some dps numbers as to why WP would be the best choice
yeah its somewhat hard to get the gameplay part in since dungeons dont allow you to look at stats and the open world stuff is pretty knockdown easy at this level
I'm currently running venomous with sword and shield I was originally going to use daggers, but I felt as if I might be a little bit too squishy. Her poison ability creates stacks, and apparently when she hits with a weapon it also creates poison unless that's a bug.. Hope not as for stats of aiming for weapon power, ability, resilience and HP. Too soon to tell exactly what echoes are good still early game
Do the echo slot types actually have any effect yet? I've just put weapon power into everything without even thinking about it. I can do it and can't see anything go red or get any notification so it doesn't matter?
Love your content but this game is too colorful for me... that and the movement make me dizzy . Reminds me of Tochlight style which gets annoying fast. These games that look mobile are nauseating on my 49' oled.
