I am living overseas (prior military) and as much as I love it here I find myself missing my family. I haven't seen my granny in well over a year and your voice reminds me of her so much. I hope you don't take offense to that, I love her very much. To me your videos are both teach me something and provide a comfort that I am needing.
Such a great idea to stager this junk mail envelopes, you made them awesome!! Tomorrow the children 4/12 are gonna go to school again over here in the Netherlands with lots and lots restrictions. The next week they have a week carnaval holiday so...I don’t get it. You almost can’t keep distance as a teacher certainly not with the kids I teached for 35 years in kindergarten. I also have some health issues so I resigned already last March and I am glad I did it. Hope it’s going all well with the kids and teachers and also with their parents and grandparents. We had homeschool too and the older children have to do that and don’t go to school except when they are last years students. Love your creations, ideas and cosy chit chat. Stay safe! Greetings Maia
Sending you hugs, this is an oldie but goodie video, love your commentary, it feels like you’re talking directly to us and I sometimes find myself talking back to you.
... "So ... stickin' ... cute" !!! I love the bees 🐝 and sunflowers 🌻... and thank you for sharing your creativeness with us. Another creative sole, Suz E 🧡
Absolutely gorgeous. I totally love it. This is a must do for my next home made journal. So happy I came across your video tutorials. Thank you so much. ❤️ x
What a brilliant idea to stack the envelopes like that! All the papers and embellishments bring it to an all new level of beauty. Thanks so much for teaching a newbie that the inspiration I get from all the great content creators are things I can do. I just need to practise real hard. ✨
This is just gorgeous, I've been saving some junk envelopes waiting for a good project and you've certainly come up with the best idea I've seen so far so thank you and well done x
What a beautiful process! I want to thank you for sharing this video. Due to Covid, I couldn't be with my family, so I ate dinner and watched your video. Now, I want to make one!
This is awesome. This pandemic is very scary. It doesn’t seem like there is an end in sight. I pray that you and your family stay safe. Blessings and Hugs 🤗
Ms.E you always create such beautiful pages and items for your journals. I will never get bored with watching your tutorials as you create. Thank you so much for sharing🥰. Love💘 this stacked envelope thingy 🤣🤣.
I love making these journals, but after a few, I hesitate to make more because I don't know what to do with them! I love yours, and the papers you use. Thanks for inspiration!
I'm in love with how this turned out, I can just see myself saving my pressed flowers from picnics in these little pockets. Beautiful just beautiful. ♥💯
I love this Miss E ! My son is a teacher and will have kids coming to school beginning next week. With all of this going on they have many more additional tasks to do. Of course he will be in a mask all day. After each class he will be sanitizing each desk and chair. Every room has hand sanitizer and children will be using it, him too each class they go to. He too is concerned but after this week of in-service he is feeling much better about it. His school has hired extra janitors to keep things really sanitized. He teaches K - 12 grades and of course is really concerned for his little kindergarten kids. He said today that the hardest part is going to be having to stop the kids from giving hugs him and the other teachers or giving high fives to his Jr High and High School kids. Year 18 for him has him questioning his chose to be a music teacher for the first time !!! Lol !! Praying for all the children, teachers, janitors etc as the begin this new school year!!
You made this look so much easier than some I've viewed - I have two large boxes of "junk" envelopes so I am inspired to try this with my new 50% off Hobby Lobby papers grabbed yesterday! Got some lovely lavender florals that would look great for this!
This is so gorgeous E! I like the way you staggered the envelopes and can see all of them from the top of the stack. Very nice! I'm going to try to copy your idea now!
My granddaughters are going to start virtual school Monday. They was going to have k thru 3th come to school but they're changed their minds and they will also do virtual. Schools may open in December. I know your granddaughters are in volleyball, is something happening for them. Here we had a small group (6 girls) that just finished Beach Volleyball, and how there is a club group that are starting games on Tuesday. It's indoors, and teams of only 4 players (instead of the normal 6 players). Masks will be mandatory, but they were also mandatory when playing Beach, even when the temperature was 100. Our girls did great, even 2 teams got 2nd place. Well, stay safe and continue sharing, I love watching your videos, I'm just getting started making junk journals.
I really like how the envelopes compliment each other in the stack. This is a fun idea for a thinking of you gift or a mens style like journal. I can see the long envelopes making mens ties for a Father’s Day card and keepsake folio too. Great 😊 idea!!
You do such beautiful work and this is certainly that...beautiful. I understand about being concerned about your grandbabies. I have one grandchild (her brother died from cancer) and she is having her first baby, a little girl to be named Charlie Peyton, and she works long hours as a manager at one of our Walgreen's here in our city. She wears a mask while working, but there are so many people that she comes in contact with every day and I do so worry. I'll keep you posted when the little bugger is born. I went shopping for her today. I haven't shopped for baby things since my granddaughter was a wee babe. Be well and safe and thank you.
I have been collecting envelopes since I started watching your channel and I was wondering what else I could do different. Then, there you are with an inspirational video. Awesome idea thank you for sharing!!! God Bless you....
Gorgeous. I'm going to add a cover to this and make it a folio for Christmas. I've got the perfect Christmas beautiful pages that will be so exciting. Can't wait to start. Never too early.
Love these and will be making some out of a fresh batch of junk mail received today! Does anyone else ask herself whether we are kidding ourselves when we spend $97 in digitals, designer paper, inks, daubers, brushes, glues, laces, punches, bling, cutters, mats, organizing supplies, etc. to save/recycle/repurpose 5 envelopes? Or is that just me? (:D)
🙋♀️I love this stack envelope idea Edith. I wish you could show us one with it going both ways, stagerd like. I did do one, but I'm not sure it's right. But you do such beautiful work & do so many ideas, I can't think 🤔 of that many! Thanks for sharing! ❤️
I love the stacked envelope and all of the paper you used. I already have the Blue Fern paper but thank you so much for the paper that matches it. I would be in my craft studio right now if it was directly over my husband head and he's been in bed for a couple hours...tomorrow!!! Thanks again and please keep making your fabulous videos!
Love this like it is, but was thinking maybe trying this as an alternative to boring a birthday card. And enclose a gift card and goodies. Can’t wait to give this a try, thank you for sharing.
This is beautiful!! I love it and the Grandmas Attic is one of my favorite digitals. It well so well with Blue Fern paper - Thank you for doing all of this for us.
What a clever way to use up envelopes! I have been hoarding junk mail envelopes since I started watching journaling videos for about 5 months now, the stack is getting huge! Thank you for this great idea! Love your videos! Keep up the terrific work!
Oh my gosh!!! I really love it! you are so great with colors and design. I'm def. going to attempt this. I've just ordered a bunch of pretty papers and saving envelopes. Cant wait to start! Thank u so much!!!! Debbie from Spokane, Wa.
I am new at this type of paper crafting and you and your daughter are so inspiring. I know this is an older video and I have an order coming from you and it includes your line stencil and those little slit pocket things! I don't even know the names of them but they are awesome. I made the completely hidden paper clips. I want to try this envelope stuff! I can get lots of envelopes from the mail at work! Ya'll have me saving paper sacks and stuffing papers!!! LOL
I just love your transparency in sharing with us. My favorite saying that doesn’t bother me😂😂😂! This is a must try for me. I think yours turned out really beautiful. Thank you so much for being so much fun to watch.
I realized this was an older video, but finished watching it anyways. Lol What a wonderful idea and it turned out absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for sharing.. Sending you crafty hugs💞 Have a awesome weekend. Julia💖
I loved this tutorial both the actual journal pockets and your sense of humor. You were cracking me up. I was watching it on the big living room TV so I could see it extra large period And I was chatting along with you answering your questions and selecting all the same choices you did, congratulations I love it!
I need all the help, all thumbs. Love the Paper! Do not have a working printer. Wish there was a Paper Pad I could find. Thank you my dear, great instructions ❤❤❤😊
