Protip: when low fps and you try to weld something, hold the mouse button for much longer so the frame can register the input :p

You say, that with 12 elevators you have 240 floors, but remember, that you attached first floor of the second elevator to 20th floor of the first elevator, which only gives you additional 19 floors. With that, you built elevator with 20 + 11 * 19 = 229 floors. Still an accomplishment. 👍

Build a create your own elevator where you spawn a base and then as many floors as desired then a top and make it so you only have to connect one or two connections.

its actually (19x12)+1= 229 stories because you overlapped the top and bottom floors of each. edit: actually 228 because the top one was welded to the second to top floor of the last.

You should build an elevator that will remember the order of buttons you press and go to floors the floors rather than one that where pressing another button it overwrites the old logic like most scrap elevators.

Hm. I did something in 2018, but that was two elevators and a some sort of a "space station" on the top. But accidently i cut the second elevator from the one and space station fell on the ground. Then, i've launched that world a new version of Scrap Mechanic and world was totally screwed.

I mean, instead of all that logic for the radio, couldn't you have just hooked up a sensor set to like 1 or 2... and when it senses the elevator at top or bottom or 2 sensors at each floor oh 48 minimum connections unknown havn't tested how many total there are now and would be with sensors like that, but as it passes by, it turns the music on or off.... its basic on off on off commands... when it passes going up or down "depending on if its at the top or bottom" it activates the on switch from sensors... when it goes back or continues down and passes the opposite sensor either way it turns the music back off... so why all the logic?

I don't know if you noticed, but when you falled off the elevator, the falling sound come delayed, and that means that you manage to spazz out the game engine witch made it unstable, and crashed. For the map, it may be the lag or the save that is corrupted, you could ask Brent Batch if you want.

Lets just say that that was an apartment building, On every floor there are 20 rooms for people to live in, There are 240 floors, So 240x20 = 4800. There can be *4800* apartments! That is a lot! BUT How many people could live in it? Lets say that there was an avarege of 5 people in each room, Because there are 4800 rooms and 5 people in each, We do 4800x5 = 24000. *24,000* people can live in that, *HOLY* *SH!T!* Thats a lot! That building could house half of my nearest city (Population ~50,000). Think about that. (Those elevators would be very crowded...)

12*20*15=3600 mechanic =5 blocks guesstimated meter = 3 blocks 3600/3=1200 Tallest building irl (still WIP) = 1km Burj Khalifa (current tallest building) = 830m Bonus: 163 floors on the Burj Khalifa, thus these floors are tiny in comparison

In real life, big heavy tall things take a long time to fall over because of their inertia, so Scrap Mechanic is correct in that respect.

Since the "ground" floor and the top floor of each elevator are at the same point you would be on the (Sum of all floors - number of elevators) = # of Floors EDIT:((8x20) - 8) = 152

Towards the end, the snapping/clapping in the time lapse was in sync with the lights indicating the floor. Idk if this was on purpose, but it is OCD heaven.

2 things bug me about this, first off you could reduce lag by using a flat map, the other thing is that you didnt make it max height since you were on a hill its amazing tho

aw come on you should have welded each tower to a metal block attached to a bearing so and the bearings all connected to a controller, so that you could create a curved super tall 200+ story elevator

Actually it's 228 stories not 240 because the first stories on every elevator was on the 20th stories on all the others and you used 12 elevators so 12 stories were still on the same story as the one across from it
