According to an interview the *Stacey* actor really said that he was originally auditioned for the *Zenkaiger* role. I think the way they given the chance for him to acted like *Kaito* due to his performance.
absolutely the highlight of the show zenkaiger was at its strongest when it was doing character focused stories, which sucks because a cool 75-80% of it was the most filler of filler you could get. the introductions to the zenkaigers + any time stacy/hakaizer were on screen it was some good sentai though.
Honestly even considering how Stacy was made because of Ryoseko, I was very happy it added more elements to the show too. It would have been amazing if we did get deeper lore/stories around the characters. But I loved it all the same
