This quirky social experiment involved asking UK high street shoppers to take a break and ‘Draw a pencil’. The results were impressive and clearly show that when people ‘think pencil’, it's the iconic STAEDTLER Noris pencil, the UK’s No.1 pencil, that automatically springs to mind.

Looks like Europeans have never written with the Japanese Tombow MONO pencils, or Uni pencils. Noris is not the only one worth considering.

European here, haven't seen those in local art shops so i can't speak if they're better or not

@@RinkuSonic41 In India too, we don't get them in stores. But with some effort you can get them online. Please try a Tombow MONO 2B pencil and compare it with the Mars Lumograph 2B. Here Mars Lumograph is more expensive than MONO, but the Mono is more smooth (at least that is how I find it). Btw these are expensive and I don't buy them for regular use.

I also use Staedtler, but it's mars lumograph version, very good quality !

only pencils i use are Staedtler, i have a few different one from the Noris mainly using noris eco at the moment very good pencils.

Yep my favorite mp’s are staedtler’s 925 -25/35 or limiteds Got 2 of silver, 1 navy, 1 cyan and 1 brown
