I never thought anything would feel the same as beating mario galaxy, but they managed to pull it off somehow. One of the greatest video game sequels of all time
Nintendo will never fail to make Gusty Garden Galaxy so majestic and emotional, it truly captures that feeling of a long journey with those you love, even if they're not with us anymore. Gusty Garden Galaxy will always be my favorite Nintendo song, and it will always have a special place in my heart
Strangely enough, even though I prefer Super Mario Galaxy 1 over 2 because of its feeling of darkness (2 is happy-friendly-0-worries-Mario again, just look at 2 with its blue skies) I prefer this credits song over 1's. Some of the parts are aphrodisiac. My favourite part is 0:50-1:38, with the peak starting at 1:10. Also, making the credits playable was a nice touch. You can even die in there!
If there is any way I could have my final moments in this world, it’s on my deathbed surrounded by my loved ones while 2:55 plays at that exact moment, that would one hell of a send off
The first 25 seconds is how you end an adventure. The tone pulls at the player in just the right way that says 'This is it. After all we've been through, looks like we're at the end. You can let it all go now, but don't be sad.'
i replayed it recently and beat bowser again when you get 120 stars , and i cried beacuse of nostalgia , back in the day when life wasnt actually bullshit
Ah yes Nintendo's theme and I would like to consider Gusty Garden Galaxy Mario's theme. That song made him much more than video game character and go toe to toe with characters like Mickey Mouse, Spider-Man, Bugs Bunny, Batman, Superman, etc to make him a pop culture icon.
I think Super Mario Galaxy 2 is better than the original Super Mario Galaxy game because of the amazing soundtrack such as this song, and well not just because Yoshi gets to help, but also the story was well written for that video game sequel.❤💚💙
1st Mario Galaxy global vibes >>>>>>>>> Mario Galaxy 2's one, even if it's a incredible game too. The first has the vibes of the Rosalina's and Lumas' story mixed to an incredible soundtrack but the second has a little better gameplay without the vibes
@@akrambarreau8930 I think the vibes are just as comparable, its just that 2 was happier and brighter while 1 was darker and calm. guess it depends on what fits you better.
We truly live in a generation; I never realized just how cool and beautifully made super Mario galaxy 2 when I was a kid and that a Mario game this good should be shared with anyone and everyone even if they don’t know who Mario is. This game had a good story, great music, a little mix of simple/ challenging gameplay, and some pretty unique power ups and bosses; there’s a lot to love about this game and I think it means more than I can say with words; if super mario galaxy 2 ever comes onto switch along with bringing back the first one; I hope I can share this experience with people; especially my siblings.
Super Mario Galaxy had a gameplay experience and soundtrack that tried to symbolize the loneliness of the vast expanse of the universe, and thus is very unique compared to the rest of the series. Galaxy 2 refined the already rich gameplay and made itself unique relative to its predecessor by bringing the Galaxy formula more in line with traditional Mario games. Personally, I will always and forever prefer the original Galaxy to its successor, but either way both games are easily some of my favorite of all time, and the deliciously beautiful soundtracks are some of the most important factors in that.
@@Black_Nut_Cryso I was talking specifically about the credits theme. I think 2’s is better. 1’s is still god tier though, but I think 2’s staff credits is arguably the best OST I’ve heard in a video game. I do happen to prefer 2 overall as well, but that’s a different story. While I like the vibes and atmosphere of the first game, I think it’s a good thing that the second game did away with them as it helps 2 stand out more from the first game, and it also makes the first game more unique in retrospect.
Play them. Don't ask questions, just however you can find a way to play both games... DO IT. The first game is my favorite game of all time, and the sequel is one of the greatest video game sequels of all time.
Nintendo does not make games like this anymore. Times change yes but my god is era of Wii, GameCube etc the peak of Nintendo. Now everything is more child friendly and not as competitive to beat.
The entire Oboe solo is awesome. What I love is here, that part specifically is a resolution to the phrase, whereas the theme in Sky Station Galaxy doesn't have a resolution. I think that's what I really love about it lol
