Stage 2 Audi RS3.. Is This The Best Value Performance HotHatch? 

Bought the rs3 from 2016 last Year, what a dream this car is. I dont wanna give it away ever.

The RS3 is simply the best value high performance car on the market. With basic modification you have a car that is capable of keeping up with modern Ferrari's and Lamborghini's for a fraction of the price.

The RS3 and A45 definitley ushered in a new era of hyper hatch. Reminds me of how subaru sti and mitsubishi evo smashed the competition in the early 90's. The RS3 is really expensive but you do get a lot of performance for the money. I still think the Golf R or S3 are better for value all round though!

Had a wrx and Evo 8 , R33 GTR then decided for something different .. wanted an RS3 and paid 50k for 2016 with 68km .. now stage 1 tune and waiting for intercooler , down pipe and stage 2.. blown away by its performance

Incredible acceleration and just a weapon of a car. Ross drives it like you should, pounds those flat pedals, screams the engine with delight, and owns the road.

Man, that golf R you did review recently did a sub 4 second 0-100, but you mentioned it had a stage 2 tune and was unclear how much power it actually had, so I guess it's not fair to compare these two. Anyway, the sound of that audi 5 banger is pure bliss!

My RS3 PFL has nearly the same Mods, 460-480 HP and it makes a 3,5 0-100 on a good Day. That 4,4 Measurement is killing me man and can not be right i think. With 450 HP it should be at least half a second faster ! I think it does a solid 3,6 without a Problem. Great Video. Greetz from Germany !

You need to revisit this car man...a 2017+ facelift model. A legit stage 2 should chop 0-100 in 3.3-5 no worries

I had a Pre-Face Lift (PFL) 2015-2016 RS3. The PFL has the small turbo, single form of injection and iron block. I did 4.2secs stock and 3.9secs with a $500 Racechip on it (everything else stock). PFL will generally get around mid-late 200’s kwatw stage 2. The turbo is what limits things. (And intercooler for heat soak). A hybrid turbo Will get you around 300kwatw. Next time you need to try a FL RS3. FL RS3 come with a much larger Borg Warner billet wheel turbo (good for 550hp) and dual injection (good for just under 600hp). Has the lighter aluminum block and comes in sedan = lighter. FL RS3 will be very low, repeatable 3’s on E85.

The Germans have some crazy cars. I always say why do you need so much power. But then I say it's Good for the Autobahn. But in Australia the power and speed in this car is Good for towing like trailers boats and caravans and good on our long country roads if we need to go quick for long time and fun to zip around town quick. Plus buy a manual in any Audi why wouldn't you.

I'm afraid the Audi 5 cylinder's days are numbered as they aren't really developing it anymore... It's a great oddball engine though and great review! Could you please try and find an E60/E63 M5 or M6 to review? I'd like to know your thoughts on a car which double the cylinders...
