It's guys like this who put all the work in to make everything else work that get very little recognition! The DJ gets the most then sound and lighting....even the events facilities before the guys who make the foundation to an amazing team performance.....my hat is bowed to you👍
That's an awesome set up! Shout out to the stage crew! I remember a couple of years ago, Los Lonely Boys we're supposed to play here in my town. The promotor tried cutting corners so he could pocket more money on the set up. It was a very sad looking wooden stage with pallets and blocks of wood to even out the corners. Held together by ratchet tie down straps. It was held outside in a dirt field. Cheesy DJ lighting. Lonely Boys pulled up and saw it, turned around and left. The people blamed Lonely Boys for the show not going on. Nobody blamed the promotor for being shady.
I'm a volunteer tech / General assistant for the Mick Jagger performing arts centre in Dartford England , and on a typical show day it takes just 3 of us excluding any other production crew we have in the venue with us 4 to 7 hours to put the stage up , build the pa stacks , set the monitors up , set up the mics and stage box's and run the cables around the stage , it doesn't sound a lot but it is one hard job just for the three of us , but I love it and wouldn't do anything else.
@@mudgepacker7600 You didn't get the joke... What??? :) Vansdamme13 is saying, are you building the March Madness music festival or are you building one of America's biggest music festivals (Ultra).
