trust me, don't give up. For a while my hair looked awkward and long-ish, but not flow long. I currently have a bit more than the flow but the back is really long so I have to trim a bit. Expect to wait about 6 months or so until you see it. STAY STRONG.
@@honyc9672 that's not how it works, are you using conditioner without knowing what it does ? it's here to help for keeping your hair smooth and knotless, it also makes it easier to be tamed if you want to style it. i have between curly and wavy hair myself, the conditionner does not make it any curlier, if anything, my hair gets even wavier/straight.
@@prod.87jaws both of you are wrong I have really curly hair and sea salt spray works fine if you have enough salt and also Conditioner does the same if you have the right kind your probably just using crappy shampoos and conditioners with sulfate in them
I’m seeing a lot of positive feedback from this updated video so far, your looking good with the flow. I’m thinking of getting a trim so I can achieve this hairstyle.
I'm about 2 to 3 months in and the stage I'm at now is driving me nuts however I think I'm just going to let it keep growing I want that wave flow with the short sides
For the people who say you need naturally wavy hair this isn't necessarily true because as your hair grows longer your hair will start to look wavier anyway you just need to know how to style it.
One of my teacher did this and it looked really good for about 5 months but then he let it keep growing and now he just has long hair. So you do have to trim it.
@@Ballingboiithey’ll mess it up… trust me even as a girl when you ask for what you have/had they never replicate it. Like to the point where it seems that they don’t even try at all or if they are trying then they are actively trying to sabotage you even though Ik in most cases they probably don’t even care enough to do that. Half kidding but yeah. Also I am aware that cuts can grow out better, as showcased in this video, but I’ve had them cut the hair in such a way where it won’t and hasn’t grown out nicely. Sick of it
I had COVID that lasted a good 12 days. At first, I believed I was ok but I started to lose more hair than usual. Following some research, I've come to realize it’s from the stress my body went through during that time and also the shampoo that I was using. So I began doing yoga and meditation daily and changed my shampoo and conditioner to littleextraa cooconion anti hair fall kit. And today I don't face any hairfall. Thank you for this video! I feel so much better.
I used to have basically straight hair but after getting a m-part and brushing back after showed etc, my hair became progressively wavy especially with longer hair.
Me too but the awkward stage looks terrible, I have one half decent side and the other side of my hair got hair sticking out like an inverted wave, Not sure if I can describe it better but ye a massive wave or curl with the hair going from the middle downwards then sticking up at the end and it's driving me insane, My hair is the cross between wavy and curly
Tips: ppl don't like "awkward stage" bcs it looks unmaintained and messy so my advice is shape up/edge up or at least sideburns cut, either do it urself or get to the barber,I have a flow few years ago but the edge is sharp and I have fade sideburns which looks cool
To avoid the awkward stage, before your last haircut for when you’ll be growing it out, don’t cut the back (mullet area). This allows the back to grow evenly with the top and side of hair for when it’s medium length then long.
I don’t have hair like that. Plus the hair on the nape of my neck is somewhat abnormal. So everytime I get a haircut I always request a clean skin-tight cut on the bottom using foil shavers hence the “Fade”.
My brother had “the flow” it looked so bad, now he has actually long hair and it’s amazing so this depends much more on face shape and hair thickness, texture extra it’s not just a “stick to it and it’ll look great” because it may not
Parents often associate long hair with messiness. If you show them what you're going for and tell them you're going to maintain it and not just let it be messy then they might approve
Realized i won the genetics lottery when it comes to hair and im gonna grow it out definitely now, im in the awkward fase now, i really want to get a haircut
Yeah if you have naturally straight hair, Id suggest growing it all out, sides, back, everything. No haircuts, even though the awkward stage for straight hair is worse than wavy hair, the end product is so worth it
Bruh I was in the flow stage and went to get an inch off to semi clean it up and the person made my hair go from like 9-10 inches to 4-5. Low key pissed rn now I’m in the Oh My phase again. F#%*
Get a 3 face mirror and cut your own hair, or get a friend to cut your hair for you I cut and trim my brothers hair for him, he got the curtains haircut kinda like the vudeo but more straight
