Funny, I stumbled on to this on my own when I started an exercise using 16th note doubles on an upstroke but beginning on the offbeat...and realized that it has you crossing strings after a downstroke rather than an upstroke - inside picking as opposed to outside picking.....and the more I listen to Bill Monroe the more I realized that he did this picking......thanks
Chris, i was listening to Mike Compton's "Wood butchers Walkabout." I have a beginner ear and was wondering if it is staggered 16ths im hearing fearured throughout this song.
