Bryan Babb He is one of the best at coming up with creative unique metal riffs. Can shred when he wants to as well. Love his use of the baritone style guitar and the different tunings he uses to get his own sound. And to top it all off puts his whole body into every performance and rocks out like no other
I was born in 1962 lol and love this, still Aaron is only 9-10 yrs younger than me, I'm an Australian, we like things heavy lol, it comes with the genes xx
Man everytime I´m shivering hearing Aaron shout when they play Spleen on this concert. Like he was saying "Cologne wake da fuck up!" Absolutely Amazing!
I think you got the date a little wrong on the title! Aaron don't have his neck tattoo here, & Jon has long hair. Jon didn't have long hair during the making of Staind. This has to have taken place around 09-10.
Really sad Jon Wysocki got ousted for his playing not being up to snuff for their last album. His playing was awesome at this point just a couple years earlier
I know you mentioned this 5 years ago, but I feel it's still relevant because Staind is out there playing shows again and I really wish Jon was still with them. Him and Silveria from Korn were 2 of my favorite drummers back in the day when nu metal was everywhere. He was always tight on Dysfunction and even BtC had some crafty drums. He always did more then enough for Staind and I think he fit in perfectly. I don't think he got ousted because he wasn't up to snuff though(even though their DVD has a small part that talks about it), I just think him and Aaron just didn't click personally. It's hard going on the road for a decade with the same mates especially if you don't see eye to eye with any of them on a personal level. Hope he's doing great whatever he's doing now a days. Jon I miss you brother
@@lRickGrimeslYeah so they claim. He had done more than Ok up until that album. That alone speaks volumes. Like I said I think it had more to do with personal friction. At any rate it's shity the way Aaron went about it. Including it in the DVD. He was one of their brothers. You don't just throw him under the bus publicly just cause you've had a few disagreements over the years. It's just immature how Aaron treated the whole thing
Riddle me this, Mr. Parker why are you obsessing over something as trivial as time when right above the comment section is one of the most epic bands playing a concert, on a website that didn't exist 13 years ago?
It's amazing what a few years has done to Aaron's voice. This is 2011, and he does a not bad job on the screams. Fast-forward to 2013, and listening to him sing songs like Spleen is just death to my ears. I love Aaron and Staind to death (Fav. band) but man, those classics getting brutalized by smoking is not good for our ears Aaron!!
The year / date is wrong. He called 'Pardon Me' a new song. That's 2008, certainly not 2011. The correct date is February 2, 2009. The 2011 gig is a totally different setlist: hxxp://setlist.fm/setlist/staind/2011/live-music-hall-cologne-germany-bd04dc2.html
The date is incorrect. I visited the concert on October 17, they did not play Tolerate and the final accoustic song was Something to Remind you. The setlist does not have any song from the new album, too, which wouldn't make any sense on kind of a release tour
Yeah I noticed there were no songs from the 2011 album, so it likely couldn't be 2011...because that album was released in September and this show was an October show.
Does anyone know where to find the guitar tabs for the live version of for you. I have the album version but i want to learn how to play the chorus part that aaron plays.
It seems to be a common theme for Aaron to come out on stage with just an acoustic guitar and no electronics for the encore. He did that in Sault Ste. Marie, MI too. Which I think is just awesome. If only the goddamn audience would STFU and hold their applause until the performance is over.
Horrible crowd! I went to there concert last month and I was in the front row center stage, and let me tell u we were going CRAZY! Singing and screaming to every lyric. They are sooo amazing. But this concert was not there best
