How to Calibrate Steps/mm in Mach3 of the DIY CNC Router Stainless OX. Initial setting based on calculation followed by a manual procedure (measure, calibrate, re-measure).
NOTE: Remember, if you have a slave motor on one of the axis you have to copy any calibration data to the slave axis under Motor Tuning.

I really appreciate your demonstration as it has cleared up a lot of my confusion. But I tried the Prusa Calculator and I noticed that there is no reference to use with the GT3 Belts. Just to make sure I'm not missing anything. What values should I use for these belts?

Hi Ronald, As far as I can see you do not need to use one of the presets in Prusa. Just enter the three numbers for Motor Angle (1.8), Belt Pitch (3) and Tooth count (e.g. 20). The pitch for GT3 is 3mm. Hope this will work for you

HI SIR WHEN IM USE '' axis calibration " the steps per unit is "" 5.55221 '''' but when move cnc by g code the machine move very very slowly

Wow that's not an easy question to help you with. You need to secure that controllers are set correctly and that it's reflected in the controller program. Then you need to do motor tuning (if you are using Mach3) All this must work when you jog the machine before trying to send g-code
