Very satisfied with this. After getting the 3:26, which was already a clean and aggressive run with no serious slowdowns, the only thing left to do was turn the aggression dial up even more; and after several frustrating deaths I finally got this run through :)
I spent several hours last evening and this morning exclusively practicing the blue screen of death (room 5), and it really paid off. Also found some mini-optimizations for the Escher room.
The time certainly remains improvable - room 5 can still be done faster (especially on the way down), and the part between 2:59 and 3:06 was extremely cautious on this run. Cleaning up those final screens would take the run to around 3:10-3:11; and maybe there are still some places where Fastest could reasonably be used more. But I think I'm done with this game :)
