That actually came out better than I expected.... quite nice. This morning I mentioned cross bracing and I was talking about left to right on the center 4x4 posts to add lateral strength so leaning on the handrail doesn't cause sideways flex. You can also add a 2x6 (on the vertical) under the first tread to transfer load when people yank sideways on that first 4x4. It will help take some of the stress off the side of the stringer.
looks good i found my pressure treated picnic table rotted on bottom of legs so i started putting in those ribbed vibration isolating rubber pads to keep it off concrete
Excellent job on that job. That was an expensive staircase to build. Was that on a building at work? Your dumpster motto is like mine… “ if it fits it ships” lol
