Tips I learned about fungus gnats: the yellow sticky things works very well, water from the bottom if that is possible, cover the top of the soil with a thin layer of fine vermiculite or seed starter mix (learned these from Y's Garden channel here on RU-vid).

I find the plants that I have under grow lights tend to grow all year long so I don’t worry about repotting those. ❄️💚🙃

Another interesting item to help alleviate the problem of annoying fungus gnats is the Sundew carniverous plant. It would grow very nicely in the set up you have. Of course, it would not solve the problem but a unique addition and mini aide for your indoor garden.

Do you grow them? I was thinking this year of looking at pitcher plants. 😀🌲🌿🌷

Your Ficus Tineke is so beautiful that it actually looks like a painting - stunning. Just this afternoon I received my 3 Artic Sun Red Dogwoods plants from Hirts. I had to chuckle - my PW tags were not stapled on at all - they must have watched your video :) I'm pretty excited to winter over and can't wait to plant when it is warmer. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion 🌸🌺🌼🌷

@@Suburbanoasis I spoke too soon. When I unpacked them from the shipping box yesterday- there were tags loose in the box separate from the plants. When I planted them today in larger pots - there were indeed tags stapled to the pots. It's all good - they are now in the garage in larger pots and watered. First time I'm doing this :) Thank you.

I ordered some of those plant supports for my garden lilies last year. Helps to mark the spot so I don't plant there in the spring.

Battle with the packaging...so relatable! 😆. I had a fungas gnat infestation in my grow area in the basement as well, probably from one of the new houseplants I purchased. Tried mosquito bits, but they were only partially effective...they reduced the population but didn't fully eliminate them. I finally decided to just get rid of the most highly infected plants altogether and that seemed to do the trick. Fingers crossed that the product you bought will work well for you! 🤞 And all those seedlings-so exciting!!!

So far so good, the population has significantly reduced. I cannot barely stand the wait for spring, but seedlings help! 🤗🌿🪻💮

I used branches off an old lilac to support my amaryllis stems. Worked well plus a little decorative. ❄️💚🙃

The markers are fine, it's the bamboo stakes that aren't so great! 🙃🌹🍀🏵
