Just finished the Guard fight, another tip I haven't seen people say is that you can actually stun the monster for a lot longer if you manage to make him hit the wall instead of just stopping. So try to get a bit close to the wall and dodge the charge attack so it hits the wall, you'll have a few seconds more to shoot it than just dodging it. EDIT: If you choose to side with Shaman, don't waste your bullets killing the Snorks, they're with you since Shaman can control them. Only spend your bullets on the soldiers.
i finished the guard 2 days ago and it still get stunned but its much harder to dodge his charge attack. you have to jump before he reaches you. at first its tricky to find the right timing cause you always wanna jump pretty late before he touches you, but you can actually jump sideways pretty early and he misses you. when i fought the guardian i wasnt sided with shaman or morgue at this point in the quest (didnt even know i could pick a side cause i watch the tutorial videos while i do the quest :b) so the snorks still attacked me and tbh they made it really really hard cause i swapped with m1a and ak. the best weapon in my opinion is an rpd or some lmg with big magacine capaticity and if possible get a lil scope on it so you can hit the blue lights at his body more easy. oh and a mechanic im not so sure about, but if you are far away enough (if he stands in the middle and healing up and you outter the outter red circle, he will always do his beam attack instead of his charge attack or at least he did it at least 3-4 times before he did another charge attack and in this time i could easily kill the snorks at least.
I found a cheese for anyone that needs to get past the guard fight. make sure you have as much ammo as you can and when you go to drop into the boss arena you want to drop down as close to the back edge as possible and when you drop DO NOT TOUCH WASD. you cannot move or it'll trigger him to move. again DO NOT MOVE AT ALL UNTIL HE'S DEAD. there's a chance he will just get stuck in place then you can just whittle him down without having to fight him. cant guarantee it'll always work but if you're struggling to get past him like i was i definitely recommend trying this. EDIT: he will be harder to hit at lower health as the glowy bits disappear but just keep shooting and highly recommend using single shots to conserve ammo. again please for the love of christ do not move. i did this when he was at 3% and he will heal then f*@k you up.
Heres a Morgue tip: when you get to his phase where he spawns a Melee (Slayer - spawns in 3-4 killed ranged troops) dont kill the ones at the platform where morgue 1st stays And take cover from them and morgue comes back with 9% health and full plate without triggering the infinite troops phase I dont know if this is true but i tried it and probably got lucky
God that one was soooo tedious. Spend the whole evening doing it, thanks to your guide I died a lot less than I could've. But damn the guard was tough, took me like 15 attempts. Morgue was a pain, with a Thug he would 4 shot me, and forget the ammo crates, as soon as you move from under the balcony you're fucked. You're a pretty reliant ressource on the game. Helped me a ton up until now.
Updated Tip: morgues armor plate will replenish every 10 seconds after you break It (I think) I suggest taking couple F1 and RGO grenades stay back and use them really helpful when your pinned down also keep in mind the exo baseball guy that comes out after the 3 round of reinforcements
bro, you did a great job with all this stalcraft guides! this game is so hardcore and im a tarkov player since hour 1 but stalcraft is a different shit x) you really helped me a lot ma friend and i would love to see a lil bit "explaining" videos about how stuff works in this game :x the artefacts or how to get specific. where to grind for materials and stuff would be really cool :c
kinda of weird tip here, but if you are struggling to land your shots with the rpd you can try decreasing your fov to give you a sort of fake zoom in, helped me alot.
Loadout tip: Just grab your M1A and put a 4x scope on it, makes every boss fight a walk in the park. Tried with RPD first - like in the video - and I hated myself for it after switching to M1A :D
@@vaksik7588 I did all the boss fights with it. You can still bring the RPD along as a backup, e.g. for trashing jihadists piling up around the columns or the baseball bat guy.
When this guide was made the RPD still had the damage buff from shooting the same target. So it was good for bosses that you could dump bullets into. They removed the modifier in the weapon rebalance.
I tried using the same weapons load outs. Despite my best efforts my recoil situation is dramatically more aggressive than what your videos show.. Subsequently I am using a +10 AN-94M Abakan, with a 2.4x Leupold. Which still rises aggressively, but is very manageable in burst mode. Obtained a Breacher in a crate and have been gifted a HK PSG1.
For anyone wondering, the seekers armor got revamped with the armor system overhaul. It is a direct upgrade to the mockingbird and definitely worth grabbing as an easy armor that will serve you well. the stats are now as follows: Stamina -15% Carry weight +25 Night-Vision Goggles ______________________________ Bullet resistance 158 Laceration protection 163 Explosion protection 124 Resistance to electricity 80 Resistance to fire 80 Resistance to chemicals 80 Radiation protection 210 Thermal protection 120 Bio-infection protection 200 Psy-Emission protection 140 Bleeding protection 45% ______________________________ Compatible Backpacks Any ______________________________ Compatible Containers Only Compact Enjoy!
A whole year late, I know. But I know a way to dodge the Guard every time. If you want to go to the left of the Guard after he dashes, look slightly to the left of them, then sprint while holding W+A. If you want to go to the right of the Guard after he dashes, look slightly to the right of them, then sprint while holding W+D. Just doing this, I was somehow able to not get hit by his dashes even once or his laser even one time. I did get hit a couple times by the Snorkers while shooting the wall lasers that jut out to heal him though...
Man, Morgue was the easiest boss after Vlasov. And with the RPD, it was so easy than I expected. By the way, your guides are amazing, keep doing this videos
This mission in X is just insane. Ive got pretty good auction armor, and a 103 +8 but i am struggling so much i might just give up on this character and wait for next season. ive grinded too much to spawn at bar and work on anything else...
Omg I fucking hated that Guard boss fight. I found after trial and error that also jumping when dodging helped. Probably died 20 times getting through it. It was WAY harder than Minstrel etc.
@@MaximumAggro well it's just somewhere random in the Swamps, so it's hard to reference the location in words but I just looked at a Russian guide on Steam (the creator of it is named cumass) and he shows a photo of the map circling the location of the stalker.
Better than I usually do, I usually just make up words to replace ones I have no idea how to pronounce, and only refer to it as that term the rest of the game.
So guard was who I mentioned in the last video lol and thank God you mentioned that I can go back to the bar and start at the boss again because I am struggling bad, how does returning to him work though?
Id like to point out, for anyone who forgot armor plates, or find their plates keep breaking fast and resulting in death vs the zombies. if you have a plate ALREADY equipped, and you've reached an ammo crate, REMOVE your plate before interacting with the ammo crate and you will get a steel plate 1 100% durability, understandably this is kinda shit at this point in the game but if your really struggling you can abuse a check point and loot your body a few times to stock up on plates. Just tested this about 5 minutes ago, im now sitting with lik 6 extra plates to run through this with,
A quick note or pinned comment what gear score minimum or what weapon and suit should be used for this would be nice! I can't get past the Chimera it just 3 shots me... I have the Lolite on because i couldn't unlock anything else now regretting my decision and on the verge of quitting or farming for the next 6 hours for new combat armor.
If you're quick and don't kill the last pack of zombies the chimera is fighting, you can run past, go grab the key, and run through the door before the chimera catches you. He couldn't fit through the door when i did that, so I was safe to kill him at my leisure.
Hey Aggro any chance you could do a guide on farming the crates that drop the bluprints with the 2 differnt scanners. cant really find where to use them or how to find the crates.
That's a double edged sword. If you rush the storyline and get better gear from it, it will also throw you into a higher matchmaking bracket earlier due to your story progression/gear score increasing from getting the purple quest gear. So you'll run into much more geared players when you go back to do side quests. By the same token though the lower level zones will have less people since youre in the higher matchmaking bracket and the more geared people are at the bar area and in the northern zones.
I would take my time and make weapons I wanted to eventually use. As in, if you know you want the AS Val, make the Vityaz and get it +5 so when you get the materials, you can make it. Or the M4 go ahead and get the M16 made and hmmake the attachments you will need for the M4 etc. There is only so much content released for the game at the moment, so rushing to the end may leave you o ly farming until new content releases.
@@jattrampe1662 From the info I got the only difference is the appearance aside from the fact that you are siding with one or the other. I have no idea if there are any long lasting effects from killing shaman or morgue.
I still managed to die 42 times doing this quest... how many respawn did it take for you guys doing this quest? (starting from you getting seeker's AK)
First time was quite a few since I was trying to record a guide and get a strategy that was able to be replicated. Think the last few times I did it was 10 or less trys.
@@MaximumAggro - yeah its 42 cuz i watched your guide first and had it minimized to follow step by step otherwise I would probably break the record for no.of deaths in an instance without your guide, thanks man really helpful guide! 😁
I finally made it to the call of fate, so fighting morge fine up till when I get him to 18 percent health. Does he infinitely spawn enemies in at that stage?
As your personal test dummy, DONT BRING AN ASSAULT RIFLE TO THE MORGUE FIGHT, i made the grave mistake of bringing the As Val, it was awful. Bring an RPD or an RPK if you can. Mag size is key there.
It doesn't have any slots taken up so you can add pretty much anything you could add to an AKM. Muzzle, handhuard, underbarrel grips, lasers, 40 rnd mag, optic.
how do I kill the chimera? I can gest past all the npcs but the chimera kills me in three hits and I have the worn thung armour. must ai get the thug armour?
little tip for the people, if you just killed Princetons guard you have just locked yourself into the end of the quest and have to finish it now THERE ARE NO OTHER MAJOR CHECKPOINTS. if you try and go back to the bar after killing the guard you get to fight him all over again. so make sure not to rage quit the game because you are going to be doing it a lot more if you do.
@@thevoidgamer220 Yeah if you leave the instance after the fight either killing the pillars or defending them but before you kill Shaman or Morgue you have to do the first part of the fight over again.
For Stalkers it's called the Seekers Hawk, it's from the main story quest after shaman moves to the bar. Think it's "Disrupt the meeting" then it throws you right into "Bad Dreams" and you get the armor after turning that one in.
He heals so slowly on your video... he heals incredibly fast for me. I do everything right, dodge most of his attacks and he inevitably still regens a good chunk of health. Also, sometimes he would hit a wall and not get stunned... so I cant even get away from him fast enough so that he doesnt hit me... idk what to do. Im also using Strix RPD +5 btw
He heals based on how long the lightning beams are channeled, so the fast you can kill those the less he heals. And as far as him not getting stunned sometimes, yeah, that's just the boss fight sadly. His pathing is wonky as hell
Just found out he actually gets even faster after 50% health left... almost impossible to time the dodge lol. I am getting luckier with assault rifles than the rpd tho. A lot less misses xd@@MaximumAggroEdit: Just beat it :D. Holy crap that was the most intense and hard moment of the game by far XD
Also!!!You DO NOT have to jump down and fight these guys!! 11:30 DONT JUMP! just go frm cover to cover, you can make it no problem and avoid the BHoles/Vortexs. I just did this 2minutes ago, i kept dying to the guys below cuz im here with the purple val and only a 20 round mag. SOoo i tried to stay above ground with the snipers, and yes indeed you can! Pick the snipers off from the entry point if possible then move your way from cover to cover. I made a quick video for it on my channel
Good info! I tried to stay up top but couldn't seem to find a way around the black holes up there, as long as you have a gun that you can counter snipe them with that would greatly simplify things lol
@@MaximumAggro you can also stay at top and kill all of them and then jump down. just lay on ground, you should see one guy, and shooting him should agro them.
Yea alot of these boss fights I've noticed you gotta kind get lucky. Minstrel finally after about 50 times of trying finally bugged and stopped hitting me and just ran around and let me shoot him to death. Vlasov is next for me. Think I need to farm that science suit too. I just got the tier 4 science suit from photon ii
@@MaximumAggro no I didn't. I questioned him then said I wouldn't torture somebody like in your video. I got the seekers mockingbird and the mis99 suit from photon level 4
it took me 2 irl days to kill GUARD the hp of healing lights should be nerfed and minstrel should be staggerable. Update i just killed morgue man it took time and dedication but the satisfaction of compeleting the game and loneliness after wardds hit me so hard people told me in the bar it will take 6 hrs it took me 3 days man 3 days thanks to you MAX AGGRO i finally did it .
i got allll the way to the conversation before choosing a side but price didnt want to talk to me and start the cutscene so i had no choice but to /suicid and spawned at the bar now i gotta do the boss again :,(
well Im stuck in that elevator room can not kill myself or get out went to the same door hoping to enter but have no option instead it went back to kill the guard wish I had my nades.
16:48 weird my chimera spawns at full hp and when i shoot it it will ignore AI and AI will shoot me, if i shoot AI, then the chimera attakcs me (and is 100% hp) if i let ai deal dmg to the chimera and let chimera kill ai the chimera now has 90% hp, very weird, i followed your guide and i cant seem to 1 spray the chimera (yes even headshots) idk this was the woprst guide out of your entire series and its the final part, you are going in depth on useless parts and skip parts that are tricky.
Again. This guide was made before the weapon rebalance so my guns are going to be hitting harder than guns currently are. And as far as the chimera goes just sprint past grab the key and run through the door. He can't come through the door.
@@emilbreitenbach3462need to try this, hope it works. been stuck on the chimera part too. i spray 300 bullets into him and do like 50% damage with histrix rpd, same with seeker ak. i try to run away and he catches up in 0.5 seconds
The only checkpoint that for sure works if you leave and come back is the one right before the guard fight. I accidentally went back to the bar instead of respawning after fighting him a few times, and when I ran back, it teleported me back to the guard fight.
@@MaximumAggro did you upgrade your rpd at all? the laRge drum was nice but didnt seem to phase it much. the marlene m1a did much more. I'll have to upgade my rpd and try that again.
