Stiles didn't have to wait for her to notice him/to reciprocate his love. They were instant chemistry. Stydia seems really forced just to satisfy the fans. Lydia ignored him for almost ALL seasons. People should have noticed that earlier.
If she ignored him, they wouldn't be friends. They've had a lot of good times as friends. It wasn't until season six that Lydia realized she had feelings for him. She always had them, she just didn't know it. At least Stydia's relationship wasn't rushed. That was the best thing about him. They started with friendship. Only later did they become something
They had loneliness in common not love in my opinion :/ they were cute 100% but no match to stydia I thought she was cute for Scott but I almost wish she would have ended up with a girl 🤷🏻♀️ her energy is too bad bitch for a man

I think it sucks that they broke then apart just to make Stydia happen when Lydia wasn't that into Styles....like ever. Stalia was funny and they had chemistry. Boo! Then they had her end up with Scott at the end and that was weird too. Mega BOO!!
Ikr? This is one of my problems with it, Lydia wasn't into Stiles, EVER, for 5 seasons, then suddenly boom she's in love with him??? That's not how a slowburn works! Also yeah Malia is literally the only romantic interest who treated Stiles right, she saw him, she liked him, she got him, and she should've had him until the end. It's so cruel that they were separated when their love story just began, just to satisfy some toxic fans who couldn't see Stydia are better off as friends AND would've been more appealing as a non-canon ship. The Scalia thing didn't make sense either, they just did it to make Malia unavailable and pretend Stalia never happened. Boooo, writers, boo!
I will never forgive the writers for ruining this in order to have a super cliché " unpopular guy in love with the popular girl, who ignores him, then falls for him" storyline. Stydia was just sooo forced, and pretty much a fan-service at this point. Stiles and Malia had chemistry since day one, not to mention they were hilarious together and really refreshing and original couple. What a waste...
Anyway they probably get back together a few years post canon and live happily ever after, laughing at how dumb they were as teenagers and how they're completely RIGHT for each other now, fight me.
Imo this is the most perfect couple in the show to date. Lydia chose him after literally scrolling through boyfriends. Malia always loved him first. She chose him first. Its why he fell for her too. Ill never forgive the show for ruining them like they did and for the horrible fanservice in the name of stydia
He didnt use her. U could see how inlove he was with her. He was struggling with himself since season three and donovan pushed him over the edge. When they broke up he was struggling with everyone. His ties to malia and his friendship with scott. To say he used her is crazy asf. Yes he got with lydia in the end and i hate it bc STALIA NEEDS TO BE ENDGAME but that was his lifelong crush and was always in his life from s1 some part of him never actually let her go.
@@dajahmack447 i just like don't get it. Lydia was basically rude to Stiles throughout the show and if someone treats you like that then cut it off. Yeh they have more history and Lydia like realized it 5 seasons later but isn't that not good? If someone can't see your worth, why expect to see theirs? Stalia should have been end game. Their break up isn't even a break up. Plus Malia loved Stiles and Stiles loved Malia.

Idk about you but when I finally got over my "first crush" and realized my self worth I got to be the happiest person (with someone else I never would have thought of) ever and even though Lydia was his first love he doesn't need to be with her and is probably better off without her The way Jeff could have destroyed standard slow burn couples by making stalia endgame.. Wasted potential

okay ima rant cuz why not OKAY. i am so p---ed off that they weren't endgame. like what the absolute heck was scott and malia?? it was so awkward and i could tell she was so much happier with stiles. and if i'm completely honest, stydia was toxic; she didn't love him anywhere near as much as he loved her. the only reason why the writers made this ship was because stiles liked lydia since the 3rd grade. it was to satisfy the fans. scott and malia had no backstory, stiles was always there for her-especially with maths. and all that "opposites attract" bull crap is insane. scott and malia have nothing in common, like what were they thinking?? and why does EVERYONE have to be in a relationship? couldn't malia have stayed single? :/
idk if its just me but i ship stydia & stalia but in different ways ! stydia was there from the start everyone knew they were meant to be , it just wasn’t their time yet . stalia was definitely cute but they weren’t meant forever , they loved each other but the relationship slowly lost its spark . Lydia loved him since s1/s2 but she didn’t know how to express it bc she had pushed him away for so long
