Stalker GAMMA is a modpack for Stalker Anomaly. This isn't my first time with Anomaly or modding, but first time with GAMMA. This was pre-recorded, but a continuation of the livestream playthrough.

when you fail a mission out of nowhere it usually means the stalker that gave you that quest is dead :D

Been playing for at least a few years now. GAMMA is such a fantastic experience with many improvements over time. If there was a way this was COOP it would on another level.

Right now all I know is that there is a mod that allows you to chat with other players through the PDA message system. No COOP, but its much more immersive and enjoyable with the mod. Works with gamma, too. Do notice myself getting sidetracked to the chat messages tho lol

Very similar settings to me. I'm not sure if you play on Ironman or not but highly recommend giving Ironman "lite" a try. Say, 5 lives and an additional life granted every couple of days. It gives you considerable leeway to play as normal when you have lives to spare but once you're down to 1 or 2 then it completely changes the experience and tension. True Ironman with just the one life is MADNESS in Gamma haha

id just like a user friendly map editor or just a remake of the current maps in stalker, theres already a plethora of graphics mods out there that makes the game look stunning, but the design of the places now look dull and also roaming around in those same places continuously brings boredom fast.

From what I know it's purely engine related issue. But there's a mod released some time ago adding 3 new maps.

As a lifetime fallout fan, I started playing gamma sometime last year and it may have converted me. Didn’t even know how to use keyboard and mouse til I gave this a go, being free and all

@@bluetherobot I’ve heard of it, I made my fallout more metro like, but with the stalker pda noise for quests. Didn’t realize how much I hated fallout 4 noises until I modded them out of the game

The extra zoom you can change in the LTX files as well! One of the worst things about Road to the North, is that when you go ADS you actually Zoom further back out it's annoying..

Did you replace the detail ground grass texture with just another mud ground?

It most likely is the zone reality texture pack. But also ADEGA texture pack is highly recommended

You can do this update no problem without starting a new save (assuming you are on the previous update which had 444 mods.)

If you’ve got gamma working I wouldn’t update! I updated mine and it tanked it :( had to completely wipe it and got to redownload now

The damage you were taking in the anomalies is just chemical. Really annoying how its invisible but seems like a nerd suit is all you can do about it.

What reshade preset do u use

Actually pretty basic Reshade. I try to just enhance the shaders and textures. I use iMMERSE Anti Aliasing, Sharp Contrast, Glamarye_Fast_Effects, some extra Clarity, HDR, some film grain, FXAA, GloomAO, MC_DAO, MXAO, and Vignette

@@bluetherobot11 shaders with 3 of those being AO? Lol, that's not a basic. Sounds expensive if you're playing above 1080p. Basic would be like 3 or 4 shaders at most and have next to zero fps impact.
