Same thing I did. I also jacked the aim sensitivity up because default turns slower than a PnzrKmpfwgnVIAusH.'s turret.(that is the original designation for the Tiger 1 designed by Henschel and Erwin Adders) other wise just known as the Henschel Tiger because Porsche had also submitted a design. This game has also crashed so far 27 times on me and spawned drop dozens of enemies depending on the area of either military, bandits or dogs/psuedodogs out of seemingly thin area. Would 100% still recommend. Plus we'll be getting mod support can't wait for soc 2009 complete or oblivion lost.
first thing i did when i got to the first bandit camp in cordon, its pretty useless. Overall though SoC on ps5 felt like a big breath of fresh air, ended up getting platinum ;)
It is not the same graphically as it is on PC since it has grass shadows. Those were cut from PC post-release. Now some mods return them of course, but still. Its nicer looking than unmodded normal SOC on PC. Same for Clear Sky and COP but there it lacks the advanced AA from the PC version. It still has good AA though.
You have to use artifacts which aren't above your radiation resistance. You can cancel out certain debuffs with other artifacts I think. And your suit has radiation resistance as well
Guys,...save and often (save in reverse from the bottom) have at least 15 or 20 saved positions...if you happen to screw up a mission. This is how stalker is played 🥴 thank me later...😇👌
Beat my first playthrough last night, stuck in the bottom of CNPP with no autosave back out. No other option but start all over for a different ending and i'm not even mad
I've been having a blast with the console version personally, gotta play on master, turn off crosshairs, and turn off aim assist. It's the only way to play lol. No matter how many times I play it, or what platform I'm playing on, that damn bloodsucker in the Agroprom underground always jumpscares me lol.
So, you're asking why not 60 fps on PS4 and XONE. Well, with such a troubled engine this trilogy alone ported to consoles is quite an achievement. 30 fps is a tiny compromise compared to ultra high settings
@@anarcho262 but not on the Xbox x or the PS4. He's talking about the past consoles. While it plays 60 on the x series and PS5 it doesn't with the other 2 older consoles. That's what they are referring to....
I ran into a issue with the agroprom underground and military after the controller which caused me to crash as soon as leaving the underground and entering the military, I read online that another person was having the same issue and that it wa the Controller that caused the bug and that going back a few saves fixed the issue however i was overwriting all my manual saves and all my auto saves were past the controller and I couldn't finish the mission so I had to restart from the beginning and I'm hoping i don't run into the same issue.
@@pinkishdasher8202 Awesome, I'm also hoping restarting will fix my crashes. The good thing is I wasn't too deep into the game so a restart wasn't a big deal as I could just rush through the missions to get back to where I was.
I got two crashes so far from playing a week, nothing major aside of just a few minutes of backtracking. Overall the game has been a blast and plan to play through the Triology. I had issues with the PC port so this is a blessing for them to port these over onto the consoles. Controller gameplay isn't as bad as I thought it would be considering I use mouse aim 90% of the time. Aim assist was really the only pain I had but I lowered it.
What about fleshpigs or aimable grenade launchers?! You didn't say anything about Oink Oink Fleshy Piggy or the fact that you can aim the GP-25 with its quadrant sight of demented do0m a go go!
Finished it yesterday the first time. (Shadow of chernobyl) Was a blind run and man the end was rough but doable. Didn't know i could neutralize the radiation with artifacts. Over the playtime i got 2 crashes but this didn't bothered me. (Over 50hrs playtime) Now i play Clear Sky and love it so far.
@@link15j On Xbox I got 2 Crashes over 50hrs playtime on SOC. (And the crash was random) In Clear Sky a mission was bugged. I needed to shoot mutants in a Ruin and every time it crashes after I began to shoot. I did turn 60fps to 30fps for this mission and it was flawless. (Didn't know if I could do something other because it keept crashing but the fps helped a lot.) After that I turned 60fps back on and could play like normal. In other words SoC crashes was random and Ckear Sky I could force the crash. For me Clear Sky had more crashes even the console did restart sometimes with this crash never experienced something like that on my Series X. But I love the two games so far. (:
@@3sk4y_43 Thanks for the answers. I was thinking about buying it for the Series X.😖 I'll try it with 30fps in reproducible places to avoid the crashes. Anyway, the game definitely needs a stabilizing patch. All 3 games probably.
Just beat this at around 35 hrs and I only crashed like 3 times. Not game breaking cause i save way too much lmao. Shits still as hard as I remember back then when I first played on pc. Loving the trilogy so far. On to the next one😂
After visiting Pripyat it is unplayable for me on console (Series X). Can't load any save, don't know why this happens and can't find a solution. Will probably never touch it again, since not saving in Pripyat is way too hard. Can't tell how many hours i wasted into this mess of a game.
i was enjoying it until i had to bring the x16 military documents to the barkeep and walk through the duty checkpoint where my game proceeds to fatal error crash to the dashboard. i even tried reverting to an old save point and even deleting all save data. kinda cringe tbh

It looks soooo outdated, and why would anyone play this when there's a post-apocalyptic open world game set in russia called Metro Exodus that actually has a ps5 port.

Answer:Not good. Super deep old world styled shooter on console, without any of the mod that flesh it out and make it playeable? Pass. Itd be like playing Paralogic on Gamecube, just not good.
