If someone hates uppercut but still likes to rp stam DK > mag DK, what would you sub in for wrecking blow? Whip? Or maybe swap to DW front and use shards w 2H back?
I would use Stone Giant. Just use the 2H back bar, DW front bar gear setup shown in the magDK video. Meanwhile, practise with Wrecking Blow - it takes a little getting used to, but it's worth it.

G’day thanks for the vids….love them. I built this exact set up based on this video. Unfortunately I have high ping (rural Australia) and can’t seem to get anywhere near the dps. Do you think with perseverance I could get it to work? Is there an alternative to rotation that might be more easily obtainable with a drop in dps?. Any advice would be much appreciated. Oh and what Mundas stone would you suggest with this build. Thank you.

I would never do that! But the most important thing you’ll miss is penetration, so things like Force-of-Nature CP, Maces/Mauls, Noxious Breath, extra Light pieces etc. But ultimately if you know you’re heading into an unoptimised group, it can be kinda futile to try and optimise for that situation.
Sure - there are a couple of DOTs you could drop for it. But it might be better to remorph Claw to Burning Embers and Eruption to Cinder Storm, both of which heal you over time. Together with Carve, which has that nice shield when you cast it, that should be enough for encounters when you need healing.
Hey there! You could use Pillar of Nirn Daggers on the back bar, use a Relequen Greatsword on the front bar and that allows you to equip 2 x Zaan instead of 1 x Slimecraw. There are other options of course, but that’s one that comes to mind.

Yeah Master's Bow is pretty nice actually, and yeah the traits and enchants sound about right. I'd also replace Carve with Arrow Barrage in that case, and cast it before every second Talons. Sustain might be tricky but your cleave damage will be off the charts!
Hey @iliketurtles8943 I just realised my comment about Arrow Barrage doesn't work cos it's the other bar. Never mind - hopefully I'll have to put out a bow/bow StamDK anyway.

Solo play depends on the player. Personally I prefer to be squishy and high damage but most prefer to be tanky and safer. It also depends on whether you’re soloing Infinite Archive (tough), solo arenas (easier) or just questing and overland stuff (extremely easy). Main things I’d recommend are to bring Major Resolve, Major Breach and a simple rotation.
Yo, I made both a aegis call GS/ brp daggers set up and a aegis dw/ vma greatsword set up, for next patch, the dw set up I can run coil which will be cool when it works, is dw currently parsing the most on dk? Or is GS, brp daggers still on top? Thanks
Also for reference the skills on my dw/vma gs build are (front bar) engulfing flames, trap, eruption, rapid strikes, talons, (back bar) carve, venomous claw, oblivion, whip(for passive), stampede, to many dots? Just put it together. Thanks for input
Actually @@GoochMuncher6969 I switched to a Bow/Bow setup this patch. It's not as easy as the Wrecking Blow rotation, but has a bit more DPS (even without Major Berserk), loads of cleave and works great with Stone Giant if your group needs that as well. The difference isn't major, but I found that the Bow setup beat DW and 2H consistently. Also, sometimes a bit of mobility is nice. Hope that helps. Whoever told you that is wrong. Kilt is used all the time in content. But you can swap it for Mora's Whispers or Death Dealer's Fete pretty reliably (i.e. no special conditions needed). Coil is awesome if the conditions are right and the group is organised.
Pretty sure that's part of LUI Extended. It adds a ton of modules and notifications, most of which I keep completely disabled, but there are many useful ones in there.
You can, but it’s not ideal to have a 2H on both bars. I’d use a DW or Bow front bar with the vMA 2H on the back. Also, check out my recent Stam DK video for a more up-to-date build.
Sure, so long as you’re making up for the lost crit damage (that’s why the Kilt is so good) Velothi should be really nice. And yes it’ll work in 4 man content unless the fights are REALLY short (under 20 seconds), in which case you’d be better off with a nuke setup. Just try your best to reach pen and crit caps and you’re all set.
Oooh it's really not that simple. Stamina performs a bit better on the dummy, but in content I'd say Magicka has the edge, especially with optimised groups (Encratis, Pillager's etc.).
You could use a max level Ragout recipe for Health + Stamina. But you'll be short on Stamina Recovery then, and will need decent supports to sustain this kind of rotation. More info at www.ninja-pulls.com/dps/dragonknight#stamina

HA builds rolled back into niche noob set ups and eso again putting up a barrier against new and casual people's entry to endgame. Devs must be clueless or just push arcanist and sales of necrom by making ha builds outright bad.
Their only focus is money sadly. The community has to put up with it every time until they decide to revert some changes or nerf something to the ground until the game is at a more enjoyable place.
Yeah it's been just over a year. But actually, Nirn actually isn't meta anymore, as I say in the video (just for this setup). Relequen will always be hard to beat for single target, but there's way more going on once you look at different classes, encounters and playstyles. Dummy tests don't tell the whole story.
When a meta in a game changes it means the class has been re-balanced/nerfed. I would prefer if a class never changed it's "meta" because having to re-learn your class every time a re- balance happens detracts from actually playing the game. Now if re-balancing is due to new items being introduced that makes a class stronger or weaker that's a different story and a good thing to have to re-learn a class. So if it(meta) hasn't changed that's a good thing.
@@tektight - I get that. But a non changing meta could also mean that no interesting/powerful new sets have been added to the game, which is exactly the case here.
