A tap is a tap. If you got caught in a tight guillotine, either you give up and tap, or you become a legend refusing to give up and being put to slumber. It was a great fight, though, and both fighters deserves lots of praise. The negative highlight is only for both the narrator and the commentator, clearly cheering for Stamp.
Yep, it's too much, especially with Stamp. Even when she was clearly losing in her MT fight against Rodrigues all they talked about was how amazing Stamp is. Same in her loss to Janet Todd. Makes me wonder whether they are told to praise certain fighters just for marketing purposes.
i thought its a big lesson for her not too over confidence as a matter of fact her opponent was so skilfull and have power to knocking her down or locking her anytime...and thats what the exactly happen to her...
totally biased commentary. i liker stamp, i like both the commentatators but thisd match 95% its stamp fiartex name only as if she is fighting alone and stamp did clearly tap.
The commentators are some Stamp fangirls. And once again like Stamp's last fight, the result turns out to be disillusioning for them. I love Stamp, but these dumbasses were calling yet another fight so tendentiously for Stamp that you start to get peeved that they are barely mentioning the other girl who was performing really, really well. In fact, the only reason this girl Rassohyna didn't finish that fight sooner is because Stamp Fairtex is roughly 1.5 times her size and could just muscle her way out of bad spots. Nevertheless, I absolutely loved the contest. Also, Fairtex may be well served to have more engagement out there. I notice that she is hesitant and biding her time a little too much lately, seemingly waiting for the perfect shot, and that may also be costing her in contests.
Totally agree bro ...i liked her before when she was high risk and grab the reward type of fighter..now she has totally turned into counter attacking fighter playing it safe n to overconfident in her stand up game !!
She tapped. I was actually routing for Stamp to start with, but the bias of the commentator just made me support Rassohyna. Even if she though the bell had gone, you leave it to the ref to separate you not tap.
well, she either tapped, or wa Stettin her hadn't in position ready to tap, but didn't intentionally make contact. It doesn't matter either way. Even if she didn't tap, she still got subbed.
Stamp was very close to fainting so she taped, and in fact afterwards she weakly protested more than anything else sorry for having lost in the last seconds.
Not one to talk about likes but I'm the one who bagged the 1000th like. Nice to determine a milestone for such an outstanding fight. I'm loving this organisation, the more and more I invest time into it.
Forget the tap. Stamp is being talked about as the greatest fighter ever by the commentary team and she is struggling to beat a woman who most fans have never even heard of. If Stamp was to face fighters like Zhang Weili, Valentina Shevchenko, Rose Namajunes, Amanda Nunes etc she would get destroyed. ONE FC is feeding her the easiest fights possible as they need Stamp for marketing. As soon as she faced real competition in Muay Thai and Kickboxing she lost. As soon as she faces an elite MMA fighter she will also lose. She's just not as good as her fans and One FC think she is.
I feel like she tapped after the ten second timer thinking the round was over and to show the fight was over, learning curve I guess shame to lose cause of it.
I've never seen a professional fighter tap for the end of a round before. It's the refs job to tell the fighters when to stop fighting. If she lost because she made a mistake then it is still a loss because part of fighting is also knowing the rules. And, she was fighting a woman who most people have never heard of. If Stamp is struggling to deal with these women she's got no chance against the top ranked fighters
everybody knows, escpeically fighters, that the 10 second warning clap is waaaaaaaaay different than the sound of the bell. she panicked and tapped. it is a normal reaction for people who do not train or is still learning the ground game.
@@keithprice7119 This type of situation has happened before, + one of the strategys that some atheletes use, when performing they tend to clock watch, but unfortunately it can have it's drawbacks, i've seen Floyd Mayweather J.R. use the clock time, to his advantage to secure the upper hand, Stamps apponent looked spent + could'nt get her patent, arm bar prediction accomplished, she was out grappled + out struck, except for the last 10 secounds.
I think Stamp Fairtex won the fight in terms of score cards and I like her performance but, it's very clear that she tap during the final seconds and the referee must do his job specially in this kind dangerous choke lock where there's a possibility that a person can pass away or injured! I felt sorry for Stamp Faitex but, we cannot put the blame on the referee...
in my opinion it was not a surrendering tap, because if it was an intentional tap to surrender, she must tapped 3x and she not protesting after the referee stop it. i think she thought that the round was over and she was just tap her opponent to inform to release her
Both are great fighter but if Stamps thinks this is a ‘not tap’ then Let’s rematch. Everyone knows what tap means in real fight. Just be more careful in the game.
I am Stamp Fairtex fan from the Philippines, I believed in her since the day I watched her in ONE CHAMPIONSHIP. But it was a clear tapped. I was shocked actually because she's winning the whole rounds. Indeed, Anything can happen even in the last second of the final round.
Stamp...I am a fan...but you got too confident in 3rd round...cant blame you because you dominated the first 2 rounds....but when I saw you smiling accepting strikes I said to myself damn...she got too confident...if rass manage to take you down then a chance will come for her and then she took you down and I didnt saw the immediate response in you for take down in the first 2 rounds and I said Stamp gonna lose...all it need was a deep sub and it did happened...Accept your lose...and come back more mature and determined...this lose is not the end but only the beginning of your legend in mma division
@Choco4 - Brawl Stars I know that but looking at past history of mma in ufc or one, taunting produces more bad result than good...and I didn't said she taunt her, I said that stamp got too confident coming in 3rd round..when you are too confident in a fight, your body begin to relax which means your senses begun to relax as well. Take the fight of Brock and mir for example...everyone knows Brock will win in terms of power but mir wins because of one simple leg lock
i like stamp n support her. however the commentator doesn't sounds like a match commentator but stamp promoters, c'mon you are to comment on the match, you guys so biased.
Stamp went from looking like a Thai idol to having the jawline of male model. I suspect she’s on testosterone/HGH, which explains the widening of the jaws and her muscular physique.
