Diagonal classy use of scraps or catch all bag contents. Colorful occasion or school colors theme possibilities abound this fall. Thanks Rachel. Keep Looking Up!
Came up in my recommended on you tube today..how fortunate as I needed a way to use this DSP. I definitely want to make this card. I am glad not only one who makes mistakes..I get so discouraged when I do. I hate to waste anything.
Thank you, Rachel, for sharing your video on making Angle Fold-Over card. Will be giving this a try soon. Your card is amazing! Hi from Newfoundland, Canada.
I love this fold! I hand draw many cards but I love looking for new ways to present the drawing/watercolor other than just on the front of a reg folded card! Thank you!!!
Rachel, I'm having a problem with getting the card stock to fit diagonally in the paper cutter. I have a Fiskars, which is the same length as the Stampin Up Trimmer. Unless there is a different feature the Stampin Up one has that the Fiskars doesn't, I'm not able to cut the card stock diagonally. I also have a CutterPiller Crop that going the diagonal way to cut is a problem. I'm getting a jagged edge at one of the points on the card stock. Thanks for your suggestions! Bonnie
What if you cut from the middle to the corner, then from the middle to the other corner the other way? OR...draw a diagonal line with a pencil and hand cut?
Yes, but it's lining up the corner to corner right that I'm having the problem. I'm not fond of hand cutting card stock because I'm not one to get such an even cut like the cutter does. I'll try drawing a diagonal line lightly with a pencil & then cut with the paper cutter. Thanks for that tip! Don't know why I didn't think of that before. Also thanks for your quick reply!
Also FYI, I haven't figured out yet how to get your screen shot of measurements on my desktop computer. I got it on my iPhone but can't read it because it's too small, nor will it print large enough to read. I ended up finding your video on Facebook (I think that's where it was) & was able to print the measurements that way.
Yet another great tip! I think because it was a spur of the moment decision to omit the "stick", my mind just wasn't there at the time. There are so many ways to have inked up only the happy birthday. Too funny I picked a way that didn't work with that image. LOl
