Mr. Sargent, I play bass exactly as you do. Meaning, I am left handed and I play with the E string on the bottom. I learned on a right handed bass and just flipped it upside down. I am self taught and basically play for fun. I am drummer of around 50 years and I play drums in my church. I learned the bass as an "extra" instrument, and I'm ok, but I doubt I will ever reach anything like your playing. I admire your style and am glad to see another lefty play a righty bass as I do. Stan Sargeant has one the most unusual bass playing techniques I have ever seen, and he sounds and plays some absolutely killer funk grooves using it. Much respect.
