This is on my top 5 list of best dramas as well as my binge watch list. As a matter of fact, I am currently binge watching it. Every time I watch it, I see something new. The chemistry between them is off the chains, the kissing scenes are good (could have been better) but the bed scene was a little uncomfortable. His character that portrays is the ones I LOVE. He plays the jealousy/possessive/protective nature is so attractive which is I just love the character that he plays. Very similar to the "Mysterious Lover" and "Love in the Glory". If you notice its these males who portrays these characteristics are the dramas that really do well. I do have one negative thing about this drama. They should NEVER HAVE BROKEN UP. Making them go through the break-up and then reuniting 3 years down the road really made for bad drama. I mean every episode until their break-up was built on this amazing couple who DEEPLY LOVE EACH OTHER AND CANNOT BE WITHOUT EACH OTHER and then you break them up because she would not go to the USA with him. It made no sense at all..and was not needed.
Gracias por decir que no era necesario para la trama ese final. Para mí, un tanto absurdo. Acaban juntos sí, pero no acaba "bien". Ella no va a él, ni física ni espiritualmente. No terminan vínculados de manera hermosa. No cierran el final siquiera. Unas imágenes de ellos paseando y cada cual que se imagine lo que quiera. Adoro este drama, me conmovió cuando lo vi y lamenté que no le dieran al personaje de ella la oportunidad de crecer, madurar y superarse, adquirir la autoestima suficiente, la aceptación y la confianza en ella como para reconocerse en ese amor e ir hacia él. Recuerdo incluso comentar con una amiga lo decepcionada que me sentí con el guión cuando después de 3 años separados ella tiene un novio que no quiere, que no la trata como ella quiere y con quien tampoco piensa casarse, tener hijos y plegarse a lo socialmente correcto. Y para qué está con él? Qué nivel de madurez emocional y autoconocimiento ha adquirido ella en ese tiempo? y dónde quedó aquello de que estaba aprendiendo a amar ( amarse/valorarse) que le dijo a él? Muchos sinsentidos. Esta canción desde luego no es con la que identificarla. El personaje de él siempre fue el héroe clásico, tal vez por ello pensé que ella lograría soltarse de los deberes sociales, de la autoimagen, las limitaciones, las tradiciones castrantes y elevarse. La amiga que me recomendó ver este drama (fue el segundo coreano que vi) me dijo que "acababa bien" tal vez por ello asumí ciertos arquetipos y que ella lograba liberarse de miedos, historias e histerias. Mi amiga me comentó después que se lió con el de one spring night, es muy fan de Haein 😂 Este drama tiene hueco especial en mi corazoncito a pesar de todo y de que (en mi interpretación subjetiva) Joon-Hee siempre se quedó sin el amor incondicional de Jin-Ah.
Totally agree. Cannot understand how two soulmates like them can break up for a petty reason. It gave me anxiety, heartache, felt like I was going to die with their pain 😢
It's been almost 4 years now and I am still coming back to this drama. Something in the rain was actually one of my first kdramas that I've ever watched and dunno it just feels different. So many years have passed, but it still feels like yesterday when I watched it for the first time. It has a rly special place for me. The couple, the songs, everything.
This drama and One Spring Night are my favorite Kdrama’s. I watch these over and over again. Love Jung Haein’s acting. He is the Shahrukh Khan of Kdramas. Please cast him in more romantic k dramas. He is such a handsome and versatile actor ❤❤❤

The 1st half of this drama was so amazing. Gave me butterflies and made me fall in love with Jung Hae in😂😊. The rest or the latter pat was a bit overdone using the conflict with the mother character 🙄. But despite that i would still watch it all over again 😊. OST was beautiful as well.

Really enjoyed this drama and am still hooked on this track after watching it. It's just a shame how the drama didn't really have a good ending. Couples breaking up after we've watched them get together over the last 14-15hrs of TV only to get back together after a time skip is such a lame trope. But this drama really didn't handle the FL's friendship with her close friend. Their friendship was one of the closest I've seen in many shows, they were like true sisters and the events of the story left them permanently estranged and glossed over which was really unsatisfying.
Assistindo em 2024… para mim um dos dramas mais lindos que assisti… juntamente com o conjunto da OST a junção do dois, drama e OST se tornaram perfeitas… um complementa o outro … assistindo este drama me senti assistindo os dramas hollywoodianos dos anos 40/50… Something In The Rain para mim se tornou um clássico … simplesmente inesquecível ❤

This dorama is really one of two bests for me (“My love from the Star” is the best one). The love story and relationship between lovers shown here are more realistic. Events, situations, characters, behaviors, dialogues are so close to those that we experience in real life. Everyone can relate to them. Even though there is a main story line in this drama, there were shown some social problems as well. Actors were both great.

I just saw this drama and I have to say that the only thing I didn't like was the 2nd song that says (stand by your man) Send she's was the one with all the issues The right song for this drama is( when a man loves a woman) Love the 1st song And the drama was awesome I like the Chemistry of both actors
