P.S. This video was recorded about a year ago. Since then the price of the 36" GrandStand has risen significantly. As of October 2022, it is about $9700. If you are following along the numbers and Math in our video, please account for the change in price in your calculations.
I came here to say thank you for what you did for Al Bladez , giving Al a brand new $9,000 mower was a beautiful thing to do. People like you " Main street mower and Al Bladez is what this world needs . God bless you both .
I was referred to Main Street Mower by Al Bladez. You guys put big waves of positive energy into world by furthering Al's humanitarian work with that Toro Standing Mower. Wow! What a machine! It was fun to hear the homeowner warn Al Bladez that two previous lawn mower broke down trying to mow her vegetation. No problem for the Toro Standing Mower. It was a piece of cake, and fun to watch. And saved the homeowners from losing their home! Thanks Main Street Mowers !!!
My only problem here is that only the 34 inch will fit through a 36 inch gate approximately half of my customers have a 36 inch opening and a 36 inch grandstand is actually about 37 inches wide so I was forced to go with an X mark 32 inch stand on and there’s only about four companies that make a 32 but more companies make a 36 but it doesn’t make sense because I can’t fit through a 36 inch gate which is the whole point point
We understand. That's a common problem that we hear about. That's why we made a video on all backgate mower options. The video is about a year old, but can still be relevant to a lot of people. Here's the link if you want to check it out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_LHb9NQ1Bho.html
I’ve already seen that one. It’s a great video, but push mowers. Just don’t have the same efficiency as a stand on. I’m 15 and only have one commercial mower so I needed something that could do back gates that a 36 can’t get and I’m still able to do acreage it just might take a little longer OK a lot longer😁 love all the videos I just picked up a BR 800 because of your blower battle video. Keep up the great work.
The 30" walk behind exists for this. Sulkys exist for larger scenarios of this. Rather, just ride a 30-32" Toro midrange for those few lawn. Sit not stand, invest that energy elsewhere in landscaping with a higher value than mowing. Especially if you're a small operator with 1-4 guys and 1 is YOU! 😂
Since the stand-on is three times the price of a zero-turn TimeCutter, I would buy three TimeCutters and finish each lawn account almost three times faster, making much more money by having more accounts
I have a gravely ZTHD 52 inch with the new bagger with 33 hours on it. It’s a 2021. What is the value for this piece of equipment? Thanks love the videos.
I have about 8 k sq ft of lawn. My gate is 40 inches wide to get anything past it that will fit at 40 inches. I have a super recycler 21 Inch personal pace. I like to cut same path twice. So I am there for like 90 minutes. I am getting close to 70 years old. Should I invest on the homeowner model?
Science is interesting as a commercial user, time for a homeowner buying a commercial unit. The other thing is when you can buy a commercial mower off a residential user privately at a price 10x less than original price with limited use. Resulting best of both worlds 😀
Yep, U so correct. That's similar the why I broke it down in my head as far as buying 30" Toro vs 32" Ferris walk behind. The Ferris is built like a tank. I bought it Dec 31, 2021 & by July it had paid for itself. My buddy bought the $1000 Toro 30. He broke down the 1st week & I finished the same yards a few minutes faster. Depending on my pace.
