Stand Up Paddleboarding the entire Verde River of Arizona during the epic floods of Spring 2023, solo and self supported on what may be the first full descent of the Verde River from Sullivan Lake itself. This trip was done on a Hala Rado SUP and spanned over the course of almost two months as pulses up to 80000cfs forced me to camp along the Verde River for weeks on end. Dam releases at both Horseshoe and Bartlett also made the river impassable requiring a lot of downtime along the trip to get the timing correct as to safely pass through. Starting in March, and ending in May, follow the flood with us and come see the diversity of the Verde River.
