Happy new year ma’am. Hope this year blesses you and your family immensely. You’ve been of great help through out my 11th and and eternally grateful. Mere words can’t describe how much hope you’ve given students. If I’m doing well in chemistry it’s solely because of you. I’ll be going to 12th this year and I was wondering if you can recommend me some good books to study for chemistry for jee. Once again thanking you whole hearteningly! :)
Bhaanvi Jaggi thank you so much child, you actually made my first day of the year beautiful. I am so happy you found my videos useful. Happy new year to you and your family too! For 12th Boards I would strongly recommend doing the NCERT text thoroughly. As for supplementary reading and for competitive exams I used to like Pradeeps Chemistry. But since I have been away from the country for 10 years I am not aware of the current popular books. My take is that go to the library and read one topic in different books. The one you feel clicks with you choose that book. Sometimes it is the way a person handles topics that makes it easy for you to understand. On the whole all books have more or less the same content.
In the reference state is it mandatory for the temperature to be at 25 degree centigrade? E.g can the reference state of a compound forming from its elements be 1 bar pressure and say 35 degree centigrade?
Pradipta Bagchi reference state specifies temperature at 25* and 1 bar, but if temperature is different at 1 bar it is standard state not reference state.
