I like how people on youtube explain things much better then everyone's damn textbooks! Like seriously my textbook make this seem like the most complicated thing ever. Ty for explaining it now I can understand Standard Form better.
At 3.19 why is it -4.18? I thought the rule for standard form is to keep the number between 1 and 10? I’m abit confused for that bit. Can someone help pls? :(
The video is correct - think of 10^6 as being a million, then the calculation becomes 6.05 million + 7.67 million = 13.72 million (i.e. 13.72 x 10^6, which must be written as 1.372 x 10^7)
