You have great talents for building Train Layouts. Thank you for all that you do for the Model Train Hobby. Maybe some day you can make a road trip to see mine. I finally got to a point to a train. It's four Lionel Locomotives pulling 36 or so rolling stock. Afain fantastic job on your layout. I also liked you put the period correct music with it. Happy Railroading.

This has got to be one of the most colorful train layout's I have seen. The nostalgic look of the old pre-war and colors are Classic. The big look of standard gauge and detail is awesome. Very impressive. ? where did you get the music, is that a Lionel Vol,# ?

Can MTH still reproduce the Lionel Tinplate trains or are there legal problems with doing that now. If MTH can't reproduce them, it would be great if Lionel would do it. I love the Lionel Orange and Blue paint scheme; I never got the chance to purchase any of the tinplate ones due to budget constraints now I am sorry that I didn't find a way to fit them into my budget.

I don't know how high the bar's been set for Standard Gauge layouts but what ever it is you've jumped over it! Well done, well done indeed! Just the absolute best blend of practicality and whimsy you'd want for Standard Gauge! And a great selection of music for the video, classic Swing! We couldn't have won WW2 without it! Superb, best train vid ever, thanks. I couldn't help but imagine what a late '30s kid would think of having, no, just seeing such a layout and collection of trains! No plains, phones, TV, computers and just an occasional glimpse of the huge, fire breathing real things. I'm only a decade later so I guess I can imagine more than some. Again ... thanks.

Sean. I loved watching this content. I operated my great grandfather’s standard gauge model 380 and passenger cars for the first time since the 1950s this season. These were purchased at Nicholas Smith nearly 100 years ago. This fun sparked interest in establishing a standard gauge layout. If you can spare the time I’d love to talk with you about sourcing track, power supplies, and and some modern locomotives and rolling stock. Do you host open house events, or could you steer me in the right direction for standard gauge communities/groups? I live in southern New Jersey, just a few miles south of center city Philadelphia. Very nice elevated structures. Many others in video’s are just tracks resting on plastic trusses or wood blocks. Your’s are well supported and look substantial. The time frame setting is quite consistent. Even the toy cars & structures are period looking. NICE!😊

I really enjoyed this series, thank you for taking us along on the journey. It brought back a lot of faint memories. By grandparents had a standard gauge layout in a room of their house when I was very young. Unfortunately, it was lost during a house fire and never replaced. Thank you again!
