Penny Post is great! The last time I went was for the travelers stamps that were touring. It’s a bit of a trek for me (45 minute metro), so I don’t go as much as I’d like. For better or worse, I’m way too close to Jenni Bick in Dupont Circle (DC).

Love it! My job is very close to that Jenni Bick and I’ve been avoiding going so I don’t have that type of temptation within walking distance lol 😂

Thanks for sharing your journal setup. I really like that thick Traveler's notebook. Very nice! Also, I see you take pride in your setup and tools. I was wondering if you have ever tried a Lamy Safari fountain pen. I recently started using one for the first time and I am absolutely enthralled at how nice it feels and the way that it puts ink on the Traveler's insert paper. Love it. Keep up the great work!

Thank you! I have tried the Lamy Safari and loved how the pen wrote. The one I had broke in a move and I haven't replaced it, but this is making me miss that pen all the more!

Hi Rachel! New subscriber here. 🙂 I really enjoyed this setup video! I just started using a traveler's sized notebook earlier this year, and I'm REALLY enjoying it so far! Right now I just have an insert for journaling and one that's a commonplace notebook for jotting down tidbits of information. Are the monthly inserts. Love this video. Im having a similiar situation with my weeks. Worked fine the last two years, but this year the 4mm grid and cream paper are bothering me. I use my weeks essentially how you have this TN set up and am in the process of setting mine up. Ive been indecisive about going into standard or b6 slim, but well see lol. Love the inserts from good inkpressions too! I tend to journal with my plans as well otherwise its not consistent! Thanks for sharing!

I’d say give it a try with a cheap insert. You never know until you experiment a bit!

Can someone please tell me what the writing instrument next to the Kaweco Sport is? If it even is a writing instrument.. it almost looks like a capped blade of some kind

Thanks! Most of the time I'm using either the pilot vanishing point (fine nib) with deatramentis document ink or the zebra sarasa dry 0.4.

Just FYI, if you're using it for Memorial Day weekend, it will not stack or flip from the Memorial Day sale prices. Also it does not work on the notebooks/planners.
