ALSO, I used to bring muffins to Ted & Ti-Paul & Java back in the day. Just for the heck of it. I think one of them made a joke about needing to be fed... But it was the first time I actually set foot in Kahnawake and I grew up in Chateauguay...

I worked a summer at Chateau Lake Louise toiling for the original owners, the CPR. My employers didn’t like my haircut, so a fellow worker doubled me on his motor cycle from Lake Louise in the old Hwy 1 to Banff (for a trim). I’ve never forgotten the beauty of that ride. I’ve been back a few times since, including Calgary. It should be noted that some Albertans do lean into a serious hate-on for Quebec. Depending on who you talk to, Quebec’s a pain in the ass. As if living here, I didn’t already know that. Then I find myself defending it. But I can complain with the best of them about this province. Name a Bill and a number.

Also, if you guys read these comments, feel free to mention that I wrote the only book about Top 40 Montreal rock radio heydays (and CKGM/CHOM-FM). And that you guys are prominently mentioned. Maybe review the CKGM/CHOM chapters. I’m very proud to have written this history. And here you guys are, still talking to each other in a biz where there’s tons of sulking resentments still percolating.
