Welcome back Monsieur Montréal! Don't sweat it about your français, what Ted said about french québécois people appreciating your efforts to speak, even as a catastrophe, was spot on! I love when you guys sprinkle french phrases on occasion in this podcast especially with swear words!

Welcome back to QC Terry & Jess. And thanks for the Calgary props. From St. Eustache to Calgary. Calgary is definitely home. While it does not have the soul of Montreal and Quebec, it definitely has its own flavour and warmth. Cheers!!

Langley exactly where I last lived, & lived in Van & Richmond/Delta as well 💕 but yes get what you mean … it was not like Montreal .. I remember talking to someone at a bus stop when I first moved there & they looked at me like a had ten heads 😳 … & believe me it’s 10x better than when I had first moved there. Pretty to look at but certainly didn’t want to spend my later years there. Since back I laugh more 💖 such culture etc .. love it. Welcome back love listening … 🎉

I've been out here in BC for 18yrs (vancouver island). I've made no real friends either. People aren't honest when they talk to you and are passive aggressive at best. And unless you've got frienda, you arent getting ahead. Its not a merit-based society. I've thrown in the towel and am preparing to move back east. This place is not for people with a soul.
