What a different time, a great time to be alive in 2004 before the world turned into what it is today. I really love Winslow. It's a shame they built that freeway bypass and most people just zoom right by not even knowing what they are missing. So many great towns in AZ were ruined by freeways, Phoenix included. R.I.P. Glenn too.
Thanks for that Craig and I agree it is just a shame we did not understand then and make the most of it! Lets hope this year starts to get a bit more positive for us all.
Andy. I was there in Oct/Nov 2019 in full "Vanishing Point" mode, driving a Dodge Challenger R/T along Route 66. Living the dream then but it all seems a lifetime away after 2020.
