One of the most underrated bands of the modern day! I remember seeing them at an intimate gig just before their debut album came out and thought... wow they'll be huge. Sadly it seems that people don't recognise amazing talent out there.
This is the end of history, the final account. A body to pin your hopes on with money to count. Not even lips to say goodbye. Standing on the last star, standing on the last star in the sky. Standing on the last star, standing on the last star; there's no decent reason why...Standing on the last star, standing on the last star waiting to die. Somebody left the tops on in the sky (wtf does that mean?)...will nothing in the world ever make you happy? Is nothing in the world gonna make you happy?
This song was co-written by Fyfe Dangerfield and Dave Tommo. Dave Tommo can be seen on You Tube performing one of his song's ''Oh dear Diana''. Tommo is also in a band called 'Purple May' whom can be heard on band Camp.
So Cinderella sold her soul, there's no such thing as rock-n-roll. We all stood in the queue and sold our hearts. Then there was an accident that came as quickly as they went and I'm half a million miles up in the sky...Standing on the last star, standing on the last star spinning 'round. Standing on the last star, standing on the last star feeling down, trying to find the ground. Don't cry, don't cry. Know it will be alright. Been trying, I've been trying to tell myself that all night...
Had a big type up then deleted it, I've seen this band in so many small, dirty venues and been blown away every time. Too fkin good for me to judge, just purely brilliant.
