Hey Dyllen, watching all your college prep videos like crazy rn cause of senior year approaching this fall and was wondering how the housing works in Stanford, like they choose what dorm house you get according to your major or is it all just miscellanous/random? Thx so much for making these videos! rlly insightful to college life.

Hey!! So housing is a lot different this year, BUT USUALLY for first year students you get to state your preferences (4 class dorm or all frosh dorm, single gender or co-ed) and you also put a bunch of information about your habits that will help them pick a roommate for you. Then they tell you what dorm you are placed in!

It is possible to get financial aid as an international student! I don’t know too much about it though unfortunately.
