@Nicole Pham bruh it's the damn truth, compared to the other games from Stanford they're always the top tier, everyone was having a very off day during that match. So why don't you sit down and learn the difference between someone hating the Stanford team vs. criticism for the Stanford team.
@Nicole pie it's literally in the stats. hentz had 14 digs in 5 sets in this game, 20 in 3 sets in the semi-finals. in the wise words of someone on the internet, "can u do better and make sure u look at yourself before you judge others maybe you're just judging cause you're jealous"
naruto 12345 I think it had a lot to do with the block. This was one of Fitzmortiz’s (excuse spelling) first games playing right and a lot of times the block did not close nor was it set right. And a mis-formed block against Jones Perri? That’s just asking for trouble. If you look at her face after some digs she’s kind of flustered with the block. However Stanfords block has tremendously improved after this game and throughout the season. Would love to see them play against each other again!
@@auraballoonshe hit it into the opponents hand but she hit the antenna before it touched the ground so it’s BYU’s point because if you touch the antenna before it hits the ground the other team automatically gets the point
omg if Morgan Hentz stayed on her base she would've dug like 60% of BYU's "kills". her lack of discipline in this game is very frustrating because we all know how talented she is and in other circumstances, she puts those balls right on target.
Dude it's not as easy as she makes it look. Don't criticize people when you probably can't do it either. Morgan is a phenomenal Libero and probably the best there ever was. Don't talk trash about people when you aren't any better.
Jeez...the crowd at BYU is so crazed when Taio Cruz's Dynamite plays. And I thought that the UConn WBB was more of a craze with the players singing Bon Jovi's Livin' On A Prayer.
I know what im going to ask is a lot but can you please reupload all the matches of stanford this year that has been blocked? its okay if the audio is not included. Thank you so much!
The greatest match I have ever seen, five sets of excitement. That match made them a phenomenon in volleyball. In honor of Star Wars day which is May 4th. Here is a song in honor of the match. Play that song on another RU-vid screen on the computer when the time of the video of the match is at 2:15:00-2:15:01. The force was strong with the team that night. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tVA4AxyT7T0.html. The song by the way is The Battle of Yavin from the Star Wars: A New Hopw soundtrack. It makes the ending more exciting. Sports and Star Wars can mix once in a while.
its funny how so many stanford fans come back to this video to talk about the 2018 semifinal game but they forget BYU was without a KEY player in McKenna Miller...but they arent ready for that conversation 🐸☕
McKenna wasn’t even starting when she came back from injury sooooo?? Nice try. Stanford ended BYUs seniors career in 2018 and there’s nothing you can do about it🤷♂️.
Is there anyway we can get BYU's win over Stanford on RU-vid? We beat them in four on their own floor and I can't wait for the internet trolls to say that BYU could never beat them on their own court!
Stanford is a much stronger team than BYU. This was early on in the season and they weren't who they usually where. Hey all I'm going to say who won championships this year.
wet sock Plummer hits the antenna on her swing. Yes, the ball does hit Jones-Perry’s arm but Plummer is in the net before the ball makes contact with the ground. Basically Plummer is in the net while the ball is still live. Props to the refs and the camera men for getting good angles
Takayuki Suzuki, what on earth do your comments have anything to do with volleyball? Most Japanese I know are pretty intelligent. You dude, are either sadly ignorant or else just a born hater. So sad!
Honestly I'm glad Stanford lost, because this was a wake up call for the coaching staff. not liking Fitz playing opp as she is a better middle. Plummer needs more help. but even with this loss I still see Stanford as the heavy favorite to win it all.
Stanford got robbed man. too many bad calls bad reffing and Home court advantage was apparently how you win games nowdays. This was Stanford's game in my opinion, but BYU played a tough game and earned the win, but with bad calls.
you know Standford was just a sore loser on this one. Plummer knew she hit it but told a lie to the coach just to see if they could win. But I love BYU and they did great this game they just need to take the loss
Ron Lee haha me too!! I have it recording tonight. I won’t be home until after but I’m staying off of social media until I watch it!! 🙈 I love BYU too BUT I love Stanford more! May the best team win tonight!! 😬
It's being blocked by the network. I don't post anywhere else. The Pac-12 network likely will continue to block their contents from now on. I will continue to post Stanford matches but they will likely be blocked.
@@netlemming5571 how does it get blocked so fast? That's wild. I saw ur video pretty shortly after u posted and it was already blocked. I appreciate you continuing to post. I love watching Stanford games and ur channel is the only way I can really see any. Thank you.
It didn't take long. I uploaded the Oregon v. Minnesota match and got a notice before it was even posted. I'm going to remove the audio from the matches and see whether they'll still blocked.
_oanh29 what replay are you watching!? In most of the replays Perry’s pinky is no where near the antenna. In the last replay you can CLEARLY see Plummer’s pinky hit the antenna. 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Juliana Williams why should it be a replay, plummer’s finger hits the antenna before anything else happens which is an immediate net violation so point BYU 🤷🏻♀️
it should've been a replay because it's too close to call. if the ball hit the net that would cause the net to shake. another reason it should've been a replay is because the momentum from her hand or pinkie could also cause the antenna to move. that call was just shitty. her pinky? really? her pinky merely Frisked that antenna and that's the end of the game? no, should've been a replay.
I know...It was a rhetorical question. I could tell not only by the student section, but the ENTIRE BYU attendees. Never been to Utah. Is it safe to be a non-white person living there? Anyone know?
Nah Wrathoe I’m a huge Stanford fan but I don’t think they’d sweep BYU. I do think though they they are not the same team they were this game and they have a good chance at winning. I just think Stanford has to start off strong!!! They’re known for starting slow. I’m rooting for them all the way!! Though if BYU does win I think they’d deserve it and the national championship.
ALSO...The two commentators are so freaking obnoxious. WHO ARE THEY? Jesus Christ, commentators are supposed to be neutral...The male commentator is so obnoxious. 2:11:52, he even said, "YES!!!"...Jesus Christ LOL. Fire him and get someone that can be mature about commentating and not be one-sided the entire match.
It was a rhetorical question when I asked, "Who are they""? I'm just making a point. If you are a commentator, being neutral is ideal and shows professionalism. Thanks Sarah.
I don't disagree with you on that - I hate terribly one-sided commentating. It's just that these 2 are commentating on a BYU TV station. I'm sure games on SEC Network are also biased toward SEC teams and the Longhorn Network is biased toward Texas.
Stanford has the same hole like last year.Second hitter is kinda weak. Why is Kevin Hemely so dumb and repeat the same mistake. He should resign for good
